Every time there's anything about climate change, there are tons and tons more AC posts than usual, and of course, a large majority of them are making fun of the idea that humankind can change our climate. I wonder if it's just a few nutters, or a team of people paid by the oil industry to do this...
Our workplace is simple. Wired (fast, secure) network is for work. Wireless network (throttled, less secure) is for everything else. It's pretty simple and it works.
I was commenting on the experience WITHIN the US, which provides a particular set of test tubes for allowing us to record the hypothesis.
Not really. You can just carry or drive any number of guns from a pro gun state to a non-gun state. We have a tremendous number of guns in our country, altogether. That's why we have such tremendous gun violence. People point to Chicago where there are tight gun laws, but lots of gun violence, but it's trivial to get a gun elsewhere, and shoot people with it in Chicago. In countries with fewer guns, there's less gun violence. In countries with more, there's more.
Netflix already offer really, really poor quality video. I can't believe they're going to make it *worse*. People who do nothing but stream somehow don't notice. I actually get DVD's and rip them, and watch them that way, and the difference is really night and day. All Netflix stuff looks super grainy, and super dark. It's interesting to me that so many people just don't care. As an aside, it makes it tough for those of us who like to be able to *see* and *hear* our entertainment because it's getting so hard to get access to good quality stuff.
It's self-serving, I'm sure. Somebody's paying him. The guy's already demonstrated that he's a dick-for-hire. Just because some asshole comes up with an idea that might make ME money doesn't make him any less of an asshole.
In real life, in the United States today, I'd say that whoever posts something like this has some mental illness that probably needs to be addressed. There's a level of paranoia(?) there that's not healthy.
"Diversion"? I asked, AC, why gun people are so afraid of everything. I'm unarmed. I don't need to be armed to the teeth. I don't get what they're so damned afraid of.
When I mentioned the word "Linux" at a large oil company around a decade ago I was branded a heretic and nothing I said on any subject was taken seriously by project managers or developers who were on the M.S. Gravy Train during that era from that point forward
Pair that up with the modern PC (not the computer type) culture being taught at school you're pretty much guaranteed a brainwashed in multiple ways spineless slug if you hire a college grad
Call me crazy, but I doubt it was "Linux" that caused you to be ignored. Sounds like you have some other social problems that might contribute, as well.
The second something happens, many US citizens are afraid with good reason from many of our elected officials, that they want to start banning and removing weapons.
What is this "good reason" that people have to be so afraid that they need to arm themselves with guns? What is this terror that grips gun people so fiercely?
If the content isn't served from the domain in my address bar, I don't want it.

Hey, dipshit! Demand is great for McDonald's and Wal-Mart. They must be the best, by your brilliant AC logic, right?
In a civil case, yes. In a criminal case, no.

That's good. I walk around with a lightning rod in my hand. Statistically, I'll never need it, but if it's ever needed, I'll have it.
Given that there is zero or negative correlation between gun laws' strictness and the number of gun related crimes
That's a lie. Countries with strict gun laws have many, many fewer gun deaths than the US.
The Second Amendment's militia clause has been ignored for a long time. This is nothing.
You bet your life on a gun? Where do you live, Somalia?
It really is the perfect timing. Trump can have people "write" "My Kampf!" with his name on it, and make a fortune selling it to the dummies.
Or, it could be that my phone does everything I need it to do without a thousand stupid "apps".
Dude, I couldn't care less about "apps". Neither could most of the adults I know. I think that your half-baked theory is just that.
An acceptable ad comes from the same domain as to web page. Simple as that.
They didn't want to be surrounded by solar farms? Why not? That still doesn't make any sense.

Libertarians are generally self-centered teenage boys, or adults who think like them.

I invested in getting power and water and phone to your house, so please shut up.
They're building it right next to the joke that is Zappos, and it'll be another money pit, so I'm guessing Amazon.
Sounds like you're an easy target to me.

. Then Obama steps up and essentially blames the American people for these Islamic nut jobs that are running around killing people.
And of course, the racist gun nuts (such as yourself) never mention all of the good ol' white Christians killing people.
Lots of red herrings and unfounded, unintelligible anti-social gibberish. Get some help.
