    Will this eventually leave the BSA and others with no BT tracker sites to shut down, so that their only option will be to go after end users or to DOS the P2P networks themselves?

    The unique thing about bittorrent is that each file is its own network, so it'll be kinda hard to DOS. It'll be kinda hard to put corrupt the network with a fake file too cuz the tracker verifies the file pieces.

    What if spammers apply for a patent like this? They can keep popping trojans on your computer and when you try to ban them out with a firewall, they sue you.

    but yet they still branched the advertising medium into something else -- something moral -- I just feel like they deserve to get as many people supporting them as they can. Really, wouldn't you like to see the Internet advertising medium shift gears into something that doesn't hijack your computer? Maybe we should support criminals who rob us with guns to decrease the number of corporate criminals like Enron. Spam is spam.
