*having no problem with non-free stuff, if it is usefull, but why the heck is Matlab not that stable as on OSX (as an example)* =)
He will be judged according to German law, which also prohibits pedophilia. After e.g. Vietnamese authorities accusing the guy, the federal attorney is forced to try a case against him.
Aaah, this is why thousands of USA citizens are dying each year. As they couldn't step up the production beyond the inital 5.

No, as audioscrobbler/last.fm is not based on analysing the music itself, rather on tag-networks that get built up by the users and some rules e.g. like one song of an artist, play some more from him/her.
There is already a model for this concerning other lines. The only problem is that DT is harshly overcharging their competitors for the use. Hence several lawsuits are running against them (for a really long time now, btw) and the goverment is finally forced to crack down on them. DTs situation is largely coming from them being a state owned company more than 10-15 years ago.
Since when are sites like digg, del.icio.us and last.fm considered to be search engines?! Some of the other listed sites are also nowhere near what would spring to my mind when someone says 'search engine' - just see for yourself.
Have you ever considered that there are people that do not fall for such 'wossname' speeches? The really successfull companies do not go for the 'talk loud say nothing approach'. but maybe this is just me.
...you can easily copy a Virtual Machine from one computer to an other even if they have different hardware. With VMWare workstation, i had strange problems.
Hm, must be a really obscure setup. Never encountered that one. So, to give the other view. There are people out there that use this idea successfully with VMWare workstation.
Welcome to the Sun Secure Global Desktop demonstration server
... well, it was the demonstration server until it got mentioned on Slashdot - now it's only demonstrating how we didn't size it with this sort of load in mind.
Probably best to check back in in a couple of days - it should be available again...

DRM is one point. Please realize that they are not blaming BT as a protocol but as a provider which is a significant difference.

If you click on the USA/English flag in the top right corner you actually see the blog.
wtf? is this?
Worst article ever.
Out of interest . . . how do you get to know which generation they are in for a specific product? (And what has been fixed?)
To the extent of something you would be scared of if you where actually there, I'd point to Alien vs Predator 2.
... well, I'd call it fun - there are some moments in there that do really get on you. Pure paranoia.
Playing as a marine is
... would be if they started porting their, already free of charge, income tax return software to linux (elster).

up until now the message you refer to goes something like this:
User interaction required.
This whole reboot message only indicates, that you have to reboot to get the benefits of the upgraded kernel.
