    So they're saying that other countries don't have to follow US legislation? Who'd have guessed...

    Seems a bit risky, considering their close proximity to the US and the tendency for US to invade other countries.

    Solution: smaller games. No need to have so many pixels for such a simple game as solitaire. Unfortunately, Windows doesn't like making the cards very small....That's another victory for Linux, what with scalable vector graphics such as those found in Gnome

    Exactly my plan. Except I found a relatively cheap route (as the sets cost $150). As a university student, I decided to leveragae my library fees and request that they purchase a Pimsleur language program (Japanese I, in my case). Since last September, I've been rechecking it perpetually and listening to it as when I feel like it--I sometimes choose to listen to the radio, sometimes Japanese.

    BTW I have an hour drive each way, perfect for two Pimsleur lessons or listening to one lesson twice.

    I must have RTFA in the past too many times, as this seems a rather short interview. Even the ones Slashdot sends out have 10 questions, where this one come in at an overwhelming 6 questions.

    I'll bet the device to take a semen sample will be more enjoyable to use than the typical fingerprint scanner.

    On the flip side though, you'll probably be much more hesitant to let others login to your computer...

    It also gives new meaning to the phrase "log in"

    Kinda like AdSense, but much more intrusive...

    I dunno, I've seen Mission Impossible II enough to know that we'll need about 10 factor authentication to be completely secure.

    As far as I can tell, two factor identification is the dualization of the encryptable factorization process. When the vector based finglestrup is elongated to the point of dypstrontinazation, we find that standard passwords are, in a word, flangoozled. By dishappening the estronable bases, the possibility of grolingering becomes ziponified. All that said, I fully support two factor identification, and you should too.

    I know what they should do...get all the browser companies together to create a BlueBrowser Special Interest Group (SIG), and define standards for interoperability. Then, to top it all off, create a special logo that can only be used by browsers that meet the rigorous testing and qualification requirements that ensure BlueBrowser software will render webpages properly.

    Nah, who am I kidding...That sort of thing would never take off.

    Yeah, but then it's only a matter of time before some solvent shows up that will safely eat away the epoxy, and people will be proud of their "naked" systems.

    A better solution would be to only offer server-based content. Minimal physical system, no significant modding can happen, unless you break into their facilities, which would have it's own built-in legal consequences.
