    Actually, there are many ways to do 360 video in stereo, however the eye separation (direction/slant) is always determined when the video is generated. This means that when you move/tilt your head, the eye separation will be wrong.

    Dome production solve this in different ways but it's never real VR. It's typically based on the principle that the dome audience look mostly forwards.

    I've tried the technology and it provides nice feedback! The problem then was that your finger would vibrate at a lower frequency, actually emitting audible noise.

    Computers are very capable of dividing by zero. It is well defined by the floating point standard. It's just that Windows per default set a flag that doesn't allow this.

    According to the bug seeding technique for estimating the confidence of software (e.g Pfleeger) you would have to seed even the simplest program with an infinite amount of bugs and then have your test team find them all before you can statistically guarantee that the program is bugfree.

    I have never gotten a MS Word document that was properly formatted so obviously noone of the users I know actually use even the most basic features of the software.

    Habit was exactly my concern here. If you have work to d o, why do you leave emails in your inbox and open tabs in your browser? Remove the distractors! First of all: close all tabs! Second: shedule time to go through the most imortant emails. Delete the rest!

    Norrköping, Sweden, biking during the winter usually woks fine. The bike lanes use to be plowed quite quickly, but you need winter tires.

    I used to use Google services for most things, however my experience from earlier IT moves (dot com crash, "free life time" email addresses, etc) forced me to anticipate a speedy change of climate so I'm prepared and remove most data from their services at the moment.

    I hear this from time to time, especially during classes in pedagogics for higher education, however every alternative that has been proposed is conveying knowledge better but takes more time or covers less topics.

  15. In US the faith in God will make market stop doing bad things. Only atheists can do bad things without consequences. That's why, for example, the law says that the president has to be Christian. The law should of course say that any company leader also must be, then we wouldn't have had this mess.

    This started off as a joke but maybe libertians faith in other people's faith is part of the problem?

    In sane systems (eg here)there is a clause allowing copying for interoperability. Without that I see no reason why they shouldn't sue if someone copies their API definitions.

    I hope they follow local laws. They are not in Sweden as far as I know but because of our history of registering a lot about people we have strikt laws about what you may register and this is not legal here.
