You CANNOT do that! Jesus points to the old testament as the the method to achieve that which he proclaims will bring you into salvation. Any attempt to disregard the old testament would have to disagree with Jesus' own teaching, and therefore cannot be proposed as a way to resolve the paradoxical problems Christianity presents.

Palestinians were more than welcome to use the schools, to work, and pretty much do as they please... all that changed once buses started blowing up. I just long for the day that we can actually stand up for ourselves, but unfortunately anyone that would speak is drowned out by the uncaring uninformed idiocracy that is spoon fed to the comfortable masses. Sigh, I will not let the dream die though. "Dreamers man.... but I'm not the only one." Bonus points if you can name who I'm quoting.

The lock-in happens with the license, not the the original platform of development. Chances are, if you "buy a Linux program" you will get the program's source as part of the deal. That enables you to port the program to other platforms or hire someone to do so. The alternative is that you do not get the source, and the only way to port to another platform (legally) is to beg the entity to which you are now shackled.
