You might be screwed on 6 but 7 and 8 are going to be fixed.
FTA: Adobe is planning to make available updates for Adobe Reader 7 and 8, and Acrobat 7 and 8, by March 18. http://www.adobe.com/support/security/bulletins/apsb09-03.html
Should be quite easy based on the HoTTProxy website:
Since HoTTProxy is pure Perl, it can run on any computer that has a Perl interpreter. This article tells how to run HoTTProxy in its native Perl script form.
OpenWRT has a microperl package, and I believe there are full blown Perl packages as well.
This affects a total of what? 15 people? I don't see why anyone would pay cold hard cash for Vista exploits when 99% of the internet still runs XP or previous..
it's pretty hard not to notice it. when you start IE7 for the first time it asks you if you want to turn it on, and yes is the default. it's not hidden away in an obscure menu system or anything like that.
If you visit http://www.operamini.com/ on your blackberry it automatically detects your device type and gives you a download option. It recommended Opera Mini - International for me, but it was easy to switch that to Opera Mini - US.
I could take my data and run TO google. I love their gmail hosted for domains, but when I can't import mail it's a bit of a pain in the ass... Yes I know I can use cheesy programs to transfer to gmail, but I like being able to sort by date.

One camp of scientists believe the dark spot is raised in elevation and are thus vying to name it "the turtlehead" whereas another group believes that it is actually a hole, and is fighting to name the spot "puckered starfish". More to follow.
Perkins, who helped launch HP's computer division in the 60's, has asked the FTC, FCC and the Justice Department to investigate.
So are articles...
According to Tom Perkins, an HP director who was present, Dunn laid out the surveillance scheme and pointed out the offending director, who acknowledged being the CNET leaker.
You speak a lot of sense.. I would think that doing this with "White Hats" would make more sense. Realistically all the Black Hats would already have a cracked beta copy that they've downloaded anyways. I'm sure they all would want to have their name attached to the first 0 day exploit. This is all just more press for Microsoft's attempts at security.
In BC (and maybe other provinces) Telus (ADSL ISP/Telco) is giving away a free Dell computer if you sign up for 3 years of High speed internet.. sure the internet is $40 a month, and you have to have a phone line on top of that.. but it's a FREE COMPUTER!
Floppies are dead. Put BartPE on a USBkey or on a creditcard cdrom and you have way more functionality and you can add any driver with ease (if there's not already a plugin built, which there are a LOT of)
quite the opposite for me, it's the reason I do bother with eBay. I have an item I want, I set up a multisnipe at a price that I'd be happy to pay for that item, and wait. Eventually I'll get the item for X number of dollars less than the average sale price and it takes very little effort on my part. I've donated to the author of jbidwatcher love his product.
Wow, this is on the tip of my brain right now. Great timing for once slashdot. I watched An Inconvinient Truth last night.. I highly recommend it. It's scary, and disturbing.. time to research the facts..
Other people (at least two) have gotten it to work: http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=15124&iTestingId=43419

It looks horrible in Firefox and IE7 as well, perhaps it's not the browsers fault..
Yes, pink ipods do have a tendency to make their owners feel a bit lighter in the loafers

What happens when one of those weirdo ladies "accidentally falls asleep" on her couch and wakes up to her [infected] dog licking her? Is it contained to dogs, or do we have the next human version of cancer on our hands?

the fact that this requires .NET 2.0 does that mean that it would potentially work on linux with Mono?
