Use CBC with the TLS fix and if your PCI scanning vendor fails you for using CBC when its secure, tell them to go fuck themselves and use a real scanning vendor
As a parent of a child who has been professionally diagnosed with ADD and Ausberger's Syndrome, I agree they compliment one another.
"With Asperger's Syndrome, the attention is stuck on a few special interests. That can work fantastically well if the aspie finds the topic at hand interesting, but can be fantastically awful if the topic is uninteresting"
I could not agree more
I use elastic bandages to wrap my cables. I use different colors for different cables, red for power, green for network, etc. Its easy to wrap and unwrap
know there's a lot of questions as to what has gone on with it.
A brief history of what happened in case you're not fully aware... I posted that youtube video about a week ago, and after the 4th day it started to go viral. I was periodically checking it to view comments when I noticed the hits were going up at about 10,000 an hour... Once it got up to about 150k views with over 300 supportive comments, Activision pulled it. I was really confused seeing as how there were many other World of Starcraft projects attempted and youtubed, and furthermore confused by the copyright issue. Everything inside of Blizzard's editor is copyrighted material so I thought as long as things were being produced within SC2 it was fair game regardless of title.
Kid logic I suppose.
The Deputy General Council from Blizzard contacted me last night to discuss the details of the "World of Starcraft" project. We talked for a while and apparently some people from Blizz were concerned I was developing the game somehow outside of SC2. Anyways I explained the details of the project to him and made it clear this mod was to be developed within SC2. After that was clear he obviously wanted the name to be changed... I'm trying to work with him to get the name Starcraft Universe (Currently in holding by Mille25) or Starcraft Chronicles. I am fully respectful of Blizzard's Intellectual property, and they DO in fact own a copyright on "World of Starcraft" and have EVERY RIGHT to do what they did. If I want to continue this project I'm at the mercy of Blizzard's good graces since they OWN it all.
Anyways yesterday I was contacted by Riot games in Los Angeles for a potential position in game design. I'm not special though I will have to go through the application process and testing like everyone else, and this is not a 100% guaranteed thing, and I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do at the moment. There's a lot going on outside of what I've even mentioned here.
Literally overnight I've grown from a nobody to a guy that half a million people want to design a mod. I've had professional composers contact me, dozens upon dozens of game designers and programmers and organizers. Many professionals seeking a fun hobby project even though there is NO MONEY TO BE MADE. ( At this time premium maps is still just a concept )
Finally I want to say how GRATEFUL I am to SC2MAPSTER.COM and everyone in it and all my friends there. From the Tutorials to the amazing help I've recieved in the IRC over the last four months. That place is amazing. I could have never made the transition I have from the wc3 editor to sc2 edit without that place, and regardless of what happens to me I will stamp sc2mapster on everything I can from here moving forward.
Mille25 and I are going to discuss the possible fusion of his Starcraft Universe project today with mine, and we'll see what happens. But regardless I know that an instanced based Starcraft MMO will happen somewhay, somehow, eventually - within Starcraft II.
Thankyou: Shawn, Onetwo, Progammer, Proziac, Lillianna, Xaragoth, Sumo, Sixen, JmanV, Helral, Slaydon, SCMapper, A1Win, Skizot, Vjeux, DarkRevenant, Dogmai, Fockewulf, HeyRevolver, Mindful, Skittles, rrowland, Phaos... and all the other names I may be drawing a blank on at this time... If you've ever helped me with the editor, I truly truly appriciate the time.
There's a lot of people there who I know are more technically and creative talented than I am..
Cordially, Ryan Winzen

Barry's comments are not exactly neutral since his company is directly competing with independently produced applications.
It sounds like O'Neil is whining that it is not "fair" his company has to compete in an open market
Look at the proposed date of the release:
The next system software update for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) system will be released on April 1, 2010 . This time of year you have to be leery of every post/blog/news release

If there is a position at a University created to monitor copyright violations, are they not acknowledging a copyright violation on their network is their responsibility and if violated can now be held accountable?
(Please forgive my English, its my primary language)
Sybase and Microsoft released V4.0 of SQL for OS/2 in 1988. In 1993 Sybase and MS broke their partnership, but due to the licensing the MS product had to include 3 copyright notices for Sybase.
Sybase at this time came out with v10 of their product. Why v10 and not v5? Because 10 is better than 7 which is what version Oracle was at.
Sybase continued to develop the core of their datbase server while MS focused on usability. The core of MSSQL changed very little until SQL2000.
Sybase continued to be the fastest at processing even though Oracle was dominating the market. This is why Sybase is so large in the financial sector.
I do not know if Sybase has changed their pricing scheme, but before 1999 if you wanted to use your Sybase server to connect to an application that was Internet available (i.e. web server) you had to pay $20,000 per cpu license fee. I sure hope it has changed.
A development version has been available for free download for sometime for both Windows and Linux. It limits the ammount of memory used, number of engines(1), and number of concurrent connections(5).
BTW An engine is not a CPU. You can have 5 engines configured on a box with 10 CPUS or 1 CPU. Their pricing scheme is tied to the number of CPUS on the system.
A good site for help with using TDS with Sybase or MSSQL http://www.freetds.org/faq.html
If you need documentation for Sybase...Its free http://sybooks.sybase.com/asg1251e.html
Sybase Replication Server is their main means of replicating databases. There are many Oracle DBs that use Sybase Rep Svr to replicate the databases.
Its very customizable, but can also work reliably out of the box with no modifications.

You stop writing shitty code
Didn't SCO use their TZ data for years? They should send them a letter offering them generous terms for a license.

"Facebook pages don't create and maintain themselves" If only the Author knew someone who was good at writing they could do that part themselves
Is this to be known as the Goatse effect?
