How many of it's citizens? Our current government could not survive even a quarter of it's citizenry acting in a concerted fashion against it(Given the right quarter, blue state anti-gun pussies would be fucked). Should the will of one citizen be enough to topple the government?
Yes, because the 45 trillion dollar shortfall over the next 75 years is from military programs. Oh wait, that's from socsec, medicare, and various other feel-good government programs. And you people want to implement shit like national health care. HA.
Are we slaughtering innocent women and children for the express purpose of slaughtering women and children? Are we bodily maiming them and then taping and broadcasting their executions? Didn't think so. Also Nietzsche said it better.
Torture works quite well, but it requires two things. First, that you ask the right sort of questions(questions with no lead in to specific individuals unless it's one the subject has mentioned, along with various other pitfalls to avoid) and second, that you concentrate on intel you can once you have the initial seed corroborate with other sources.
Of course it is, and you can bet your ass that Lyndon B Johnson knew that when he created it. The system was set up to flim flam the poor inner-city population into believing that they owed everything to the Democratic Party. And hey, it's worked pretty fucking well so far.

Contemporary based without the major difference in build strategy, but very good nonetheless.

We still don't know how the mind works, because these people were in a perfectly safe situation and KNEW IT. Now, if they had pretended to have been doing another experiment and then shoved them off the ledge suddenly, the experiment would have been valid. As they did not, a crucial difference(that of possible threat to life) between the experiment and most car accidents is present.
Yeah, but those are the outliers. I've seen a spy at the top, and then two sitting on the bottom. For every guy who can awesome spy, there are three that purely suck, and won't stop playing one.
Oh please, he takes out an entire fucking chapter to discuss fields. FIELDS. Since one can assume his major clientele are not amateur agronomists, this is obviously filler, and extremely poor filler at that. This is, of course, the most abusive example in the first 3 books(as far as I actually got), but there is plenty more.
The people that told Mike to take a hike with the movie are the same people who cancelled Firefly, Dark Angel, etc.. etc... They are completely different people from those making decisions about Brawndo.
Yes, the constitution does say hat about treaties, but it becomes law, which means if it's in conflict with the constitution, the constitution wins. And the treaty is subsequently unconstitutional.

Ohhh yeah, REAL educational film you got there. And you're not a liberal, you're a progressive(who either is ignorant of the actual definition of liberal, or intentionally attempts to deceive). Get it right. If you were a liberal you might bother to research in depth about the issue, instead of taking the word of a fat socialist weasel.
Did you read that last quote there sherlock? Adverse effect. The scientists have yet to prove the effect is adverse or not. I'm gonna guess certain other parts of your brain, the ones concerned with sexual inhibitions are also depressed when watching porn. Likewise, when watching opposite areas of entertainment, one would expect that there would be more activity in these areas. They have yet to prove a long term change on any of this. To do that they would need to monitor over the course of several years, some children who are forced to watch primarily veggie tales(of many different temperaments), and other children who are forced to watch things like power rangers, etc.. etc..(also being of many different temperaments). They would then have to give sub-batches of these kids pretty much the exact same upbringing otherwise. Only then could they claim any real damage.
Cause, y'know, making massive amounts of money really, really cheaply is a BAD thing. The reason stores aren't stocking gamecubes or xboxes for the most part is because they aren't selling(although gamecube games are doing okay).
The publishing world, with a few exceptions, is just as dog eat dog as the music world, if not more so. The music companies would have shit kicked out of them if they tried to enter that arena.
And this is why we need to be pushing space exploration. Either we expand or die, it's that simple in the long run. And even then we eventually die, unless we can somehow circumvent the heat death of the universe.
Did you actually read the WHO article? Seriously, mercury is more toxic. If you eat a bunch of DU, you're screwed, but otherwise you're good. So the answer is not to grow crops or sell foods anywhere where DU rounds were fired. Problem solved.
Actual scientists have known this for years. Unless you get massive initial doses or a relatively large continuous dose, radiation has surprisingly little effect on you. Now, if you're a guy you might want to wait a couple months before having children if you had a radiation source close to your jelly beans, but otherwise the problems are few. However, until this point there haven't been any statistical studies proving it.
The Geneva Conventions(at least the original ones) only apply to uniformed enemies who abide by the rules of war. The additional protocols are not applicable to the US Military or Government. And it's a damned good thing. Extending the rules of war to an enemy who has no intention of following them is fucking asinine.
Hmmm, lets see, "torturing" terrorists in a way that leaves no lasting harm and is being done to religious fanatics which routinely slaughter innocents vs. torturing(in a way that does leave lasting harm and sometimes death) innocent religious fanatics for being religious. I'm seeing a pretty big fucking difference there.
*sighs* Germany's problem with production was that it kept trying to produce the best and strongest, which is no way to win a war you're in the middle of. Instead you just produce the stuff that's good enough for your needs. Because they kept attempting to keept their war machine on the bleeding edge in a war of survival, they kept having to do things like retool production lines and tech the workers how to build the new tech. Britain did no such thing, instead relying on technology like the flipping Sten gun. THAT is why Britain was consistently able to outproduce the Germans.

It should be noted that the patriot acts had very little left to trample of the 4th amendment. Most of it had been ripped apart by the War on Drugs.

Because burning a CD and re-ripping it is soooo hard. Do you think the big Four would let iTunes sell anything without the fig leaf?

Unless the Wii stops selling right now, I doubt the PS3 will pull ahead in the Wii's lifespan.
