Then what to you call the cesspool known as Sun TV?

Obviously I'd say fascist garbage run by friends of Herr Harper and the ConservaNazis. I may have had bad karma from it on slashdot due to some conservative shit eaters. The Conservatives are withdrawing from the Bank of Reality and the cheques are bouncing like superballs.

Funny; I tend to see things more from the left. I'm not actually riled up by the moralists mad about a little secret sex, considering the majority of the moralists seem to be extreme evangelical egotists. Considering they bitch about sex on TV, yet don't think twice about putting out something that makes Fist of the North Star look like Hello Kitty.

On the other hand; the farther right one goes is where you really see the lunacy in the making. I'd recommend trying a few left wing news sources for some actual substance these days. That is unless you still think of digesting the usual cotton candy media, full of nothing but flavour, sugar and air. (e.g. Fox News)

  8. Re:Nein. on A Copyright Nightmare · · Score: -1

I'd say reduce the copyright laws to 35-40 years retroactively with no extensions. Any works that get orphaned before the copyright term is up should also be tossed into the public domain. I know would be hell for lawyers; but at least it would mean there would be more in the hands of the public.

Considering most Europeans that had come over to North America brought smallpox over as a mistake. Unfortunately it did wind up being something like the plague was back in the day. Some might want to actually take a look at the post contact history of North/South America in some ways. Bad enough when something was imported that killed local people as an unintended consequence. Somewhere in the 1800s, some joker got the idea of using smallpox tainted blankets as a biological weapon for the use of genocide.
