Well in 1980, Sony marketed the world's first commercial color video camera to utilize a completely solid state image sensor called a charge-coupled-device (CCD). It was also the smallest camera (weighing only 2.8 pounds) on the market.
The whole "WOW" signal does not lead to the existence to extraterrestrial civilization. The researchers that discovered the event said that it very well may have been a terrestrial signal that bounced off the atmosphere. This one should have renamed the New Scientist to Pseudo Scientist.:-P.
Here is something else that does not make sense (or for which there is no standing theory): Tachyons, or particles that travel faster than the speed of light.
If such a national law existed, all airports would require you to show ID. Since not all airports require you to show ID, this restriction can only be either airport or airline policy.
This is just poor journalism. This law doesn't exist. From the TSA website:
At most airports, a boarding pass and ID are now required to pass through the security checkpoint. TSA is consolidating passenger screening to the passenger security checkpoints in an on-going commitment to enhance security and improve customer service. Tickets and ticket confirmations (such as a travel agent or airline itineraries) will no longer be accepted at these checkpoints.
Proper Identification
If you have a paper ticket for a domestic flight, passengers age 18 and over must present one form of photo identification issued by a local state or federal government agency (e.g.: passport/drivers license/military ID), or two forms of non-photo identification, one of which must have been issued by a state or federal agency (e.g.: U.S. social security card). For an international flight, you will need to present a valid passport, visa, or any other required documentation. Passengers without proper ID may be denied boarding.
Note: Persons with parental, official, medical business or similar reasons may be able to access the checkpoint, but should check with their airline for required documentation.
This is exactly the problem of too much government intervention in business. If Windows is such inferior software then let the market determine its fate, actions that *force* Windows to be changed will just result in prolonging the inevitable. When Microsoft was just starting there were alternatives and there are (more) alternatives today, they did not start out with ~90% market share. If a product is truly inferior in the eye of the consumer it will not sell (see the N-Gage). No arguments about monopoly status either, before you flame take an economics course!

I'm sorry it appears the password you have entered is incorrect. This could be due to the fact that the processor is unsure of the binary encoding of your password, have a nice day.

I mean past 'initial production' because that can mean anything.
Does anyone know how likely the forecast is? i.e. has Intel started production?
Netcraft confirms it, it's official
