    But, please, note that Marx wrote: "I am not a Marxist". He explained that he discovered just some general long-term tendencies in development of the society, but he never meant that the history is a predefined march towards this or that.

    I agree. Human society is inherently violent, as we are descendants of apes. I think a robot should have at least kind of hands with boxing gloves on. A laser would be a lethal weapon, and it is another story. But boxing gloves would suggest reediness to engage in a physical fight to protect itself.

    Not warranted? Starting from 1789 it is about all what governments do. The Crimean and Franco-Prussian wars were the direct consequences of the Great French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars, the First World War was a result of French humiliation in Franco-Prussian war, and so on and so forth.

    At the same time not knowing a culture, language, mentality, people of a country makes an effort of a regime change from outside often unpredictable and counterproductive.

    I think all this would be a lesson not only for the US and the RF, but for the whole humanity that a regime change from outside is not a good thing. No matter how much one dislikes an incumbent, a nation should be let to have its own history, revolutions, etc.

    I agree. I would like just to add that a door has several functions, and one of them is being a border line, not only physical one but also moral, legal, psychological, etc.

    For example, if there is a picket fence around a property it does not mean that this fence must be impenetrable, i.e. to have barbed wire, movement sensors, etc. But still it is a good picket fence which have got many useful functions.

    And people should not think, - oh, this picket fence is not secure, so I can cross it and do whatever I want on this property.

    If you have got a paranoya it still doesn't mean that there are no bots. If, seriously though I saw modern parachutes. They are small, like a briefcase, light, and hitec. True, it would be a rough experience for a passenger, but I would still prefer this, an automated jump, than a sure death.

    I do not understand how car manufacturers get away with it - building cars with 320 km/h speedometers, and at the same time not installing driver's alcohol detector, driver's mobile phone detector, etc.

    At the same time more than a million people get killed by these cars each year and millions are wounded. These are WW3 figures.

    not the bots. Do not forget that Wikipedia is one of the most visited and read websites. And where there are people there are possibilities to make money.

    Consequently a class of technological aristocracy appear who try to control what article could be published and which could be deleted. We shall not underestimate human creativity on a market.

    All one needs is a capability to create and maintain a positive article about say a medicament which development cost a billion. But it is impossible if you cannot dominate other people' articles. It is not so visible in English Wikipedia, but mostly in some other popular languages.

    It took jobs of countless airline staff. Passengers, especially business class, do not have to fly to talk or view an object. After 2001 airline industry became different.

    Also training courses, books, mail, etc. It is different now too.

    In my opinion the modern politics turned into a jar of spiders. Everybody eavesdrop, dislike, and attack each other. It is amplified significantly for someone like me who knows foreign languages and can watch it all from several sides.

    I begin to wonder if Mikhail Bakunin's ideas were really that much farfetched, if the state as an institution is necessary at all. Or is it just turned into a source of mutual misunderstanding and hostility.
