Personally I think Any person that willingly sacrifices their child's future simply to help out the public system IS the bad person. Your child and family should always come first, I am all for improving the public system, but it is NEVER going to be at the expense of my child.
Given most of what you said is flat out incorrect or a lie I find it hard to believe you are a founder. I am also a founder and have recently quit the game but you are still full of shit.
Preview release has been available for a couple of months so that argument doesn't hold water, there is nothing new that developers don't already have access too.
The problem then becomes you are entering into a legal contract with all the ramifications therein. A project setup to receive donations shouldn't be invoicing ANYONE for their work as it has all sorts of nasty tax and legal implications for them. Basically this sudo donation was little more than a time bomb waiting to explode, I don't blame any such project for ignoring or refusing the request.
I understand those things perfectly, stop telling me I don't, you'll end up looking stupid.
the below clearly shows you don't.
The Root CA Creates a master key - all other certificates are a subkey of that master key. All Intermediate certificates are a subkey of that master key. The only ones that are not are those self-signed certificates and even there I'd be very very cautious as I don't know if there's a flaw in the key generation system used.
Want to test this concept. Pretty easy using either GPG or PGP
Simply create a master key and then a whole bunch of sub keys. Anything you encrypt with those subkeys can be decrypted by that master key. It's the same with the entire x509 certificate system and the question is, who controls those god damn master keys?
History revisionists love to gloss over all the Apple disaster products jobs also presided over. Jobs provided drive and some great marketing, he didn't design the products or come up with the technical brilliance to create them. Apple may indeed lack leadership without him but he is far from irreplaceable.
but they AREN'T global releases, they are releases to select channels of pay TV providers. In Australia I still download as I want to watch it in HD and I don't have a HD Foxtel Box (only SD). So while yes the release is global, it is still only a select few that have the desired Access. I would happily pay for Breaking Bad in HD, but not at the abortion of price gouge that Foxtel want.
You are better off just asking for "A secure means to submit your information" and list a few you are happy to use, Maybe they will send you a public key for secure email, maybe a secure web site or maybe they will just say if you are concerned you can get it couriered to them. If they are confused then chances are they have no system in place for dealing with the request and hence not even secure email is any good as that only protects the data in transit which they will certainly load into some HR system somewhere after it gets there anyway.
Is the ipad Mail app seriously THAT bad? I haven't used it, used the surface RT mail app when it came out that it was the thing that stopped me buying a surface RT, if the Ipad one is similar that is just sad. Outlook on the RT would have made it viable for me at the time I was considering it.
I love me a fucking world where a Master's Degree and 17 years experience only gets you a rude gesture from the hiring manager.
Sorry, but I've worked with Junior Admins who had masters degrees, and several years (not quite 17) of experience, and I was underwhelmed by their abilities.
A MS doesn't prove anything about your abilities. Several years of experience is more poignant, but a largely incompetent person looking for a low enough salary, and particularly filling junior-level roles, can stay employed for a long time. But that doesn't mean they are qualified for the Senior level positions.
I don't believe there's any point in criticizing what little we know of her CV here, but I also don't believe we should act like moron recruiters and say "keyword + X years == AWESOME!"
exactly. I have worked with people with significantly better qualifications than she has on paper that I would not hire as our janitor if given a choice. nothing was said about her skills or track record, she could be awesome or could be a complete waste of space.
Seriously you are saying windows X86/X64 has little third party support? seriously?? like it or hate it, it is perhaps the single most supported platform by third parties on the planet.
The Surface Pro is actually a really nice device. But at it's price point why would you get it over similar devices that have the haswell chips in them or the devices from Lenovo/Asus/Acer/Sony which each have differing advantages ranging from lighter, longer battery life, better screens or more powerful. I like the device but if you want a windows device their are better value/performance options.
No bitching from me. He actually seems a good choice after they hit rock bottom with the last doctor and definitely fits in well with what I think the doctor should be.
'The unavoidable conclusion from this study is that the RepRap [3D printers] is an economically attractive investment for the average U.S. household already.'"
No, the unavoidable conclusion is these researchers have no clue as to what the average householder uses and further more they are financially inept when it comes of where and how to shop for said items.
How the fuck is "by the end of 2013" more specific than "in the next few months"? First is a 5 month range, the second "generally" refers to a 2-4 month range. At worst there timeline response hasn't changed.
most car manufacturers provide very generous discounts to employees on cars manufactured there, the discounts are normally sufficient enough that the majority will buy the brand they manufacture.
Googles goal has never been to make things better or more accessible, quite often that is a side effect of their actual goal "to make bucket loads of money selling advertising and your personal information".
I agree with point 1. Labor have the better broadband policy, even with they have so far proved to be utterly incompetent at getting it done. But after that? labor are the most corrupt and incompetent government Australia has seen in a long long time. You would have to compare Rudd to 3rd world dictators to find another leader that is a bigger megomaniac or a more self absorbed prick. The one part that baffles me is how Rudd being Leader again has increased their popularity, as much as I despised Gillard she was are far more competent leader than Rudd could ever hope to be.
I think you are not understanding just how much Samsung dominate not just the smartphone market but the android space. If they fork change then the devs will more than likely follow, especially if they make it a relatively easy and seamless process.
NO, you don't subsidize them directly, they pass the cost onto you through the goods they sell (fair and reasonable), you know the meat bread and gas you mentioned you should pay more for it. subsidizing just allows inefficient practices to continue unchecked, not to mention subsidizes people that just want to live out in the country for the lifestyle but not produce anything (I am one of them and I am more than happy to pay more for the services I require/want).

You really don't know much about encryption and certificates do you?
please if you don't understand how public and private keys work DON'T try to explain it to others, you only end up looking stupid.

Science is about seeking of facts to reinforce or disprove theories, many of which may indeed originate in peoples imagination.

with the bloat of firefox it probably has to spend the first 13.9 seconds freeing enough memory to load the image.
