    Ahhhh yes much better to have Zero options than a convenience that is only useful in most circumstances, after all every apps, movie and music have a huge need for random writes.. FYI, IPhone storage won't be doing 500MB+ random writes either.

    It doesn't work that way. The US's economy and actions are intrinsically tied to most of the world nowadays, we live in a global economy for better or worse. Whether it is his protectionist economic views or his stance on world politics or the withdrawal from that stage it will have a massive effect on the rest of the world. The Large economies of the world cannot do anything of significance at home or abroad without affecting others.

    how the fuck is that a proof they have become an alternative currency. they are NOT an alternate currency, they are used exclusively against currency. whether you only accept debit or credit or cash is irrelevant as they are ALL in the same currency.

    did you not even read the summary. even iPhone 6's and certainly my galaxy worked fine with the gloves being sold that would allow you to use finger sensitive touch screens, that no longer works. In winter on my Galaxy I can enter a pin using gloves rather than a fingerprint. that is no longer possible with a 7 apparently.

    So you believe all top level sports should only be available to people willing to dope themselves up to the eyeballs is your basic belief as every sport will always have those willing to go past safe limits if permitted. personally if you want that then you are welcome with those athletes to start your own competition that permits, perhaps you will even get enough people that only want to watch to see what the best chemists can do to the human body, personally it doesn't interest me nor I think most normal people.

    ummm both of those confirm it not dispute it. NT 4.0 EOL was 2004. Windows 2000 EOL'ed in 2010 and received security patches till then.

    you don't need to have been convicted or even charged to receive a presidential pardon, a pardon can then make you immune to prosecution for a crime you have been pardoned for.

    Target etc weren't holding your medical records. most countries have extremely strict laws around the storage of medical details, access controls, encryption etc etc. if they have not followed those then they most definitely are open to be sued into oblivion.

    If you allow well understood substances then they will simply use those PLUS new not well understood substances. As you say it is in the nature of many of them, they aren't there to compete or show there skill as athletes, they are there to win and many will win at any cost which means if you level the playing field they simply look to find a new edge which will probably be something even more dangerous and unsafe, all allowing some substances does is push them to find new substances.

    Personally I think the rules make sense as as you said it is supposed to be about who is the best athlete not who has the best chemists, the enforcement however is a disgrace as they seem to be completely political. I think it is pathetic that they banned Russia yet other countries that were arguably even worse violators received no such sanctions. As long as the rules a based on politics rather than fairness things will only continue to get worse.

    besides the limitation of it only working with about 10 pages and they have to be somewhat transparent, i wonder how it will work with pages of overlapping text/ink, writing is usually on both sides of each page and hence no airgap to calculate depth.

    Sooo a device that is regularly the target of theft, malware, is always connected and subject to constant exploits is somehow a safer option? never had my wallet stolen and the card is easily protected by a simple sleeve. I use computers and apps for almost everything in my life but this is one area I just see no real advantages but a shit ton of disadvantages.

  19. So they are running out to buy the brand new Note 7 but they aren't technology minded? Not defending Samsung as they made a defective product and they should be accountable for that. But it has been all over the front pages of newspapers, web sites and everywhere on the internet. I haven't looked for it as it doesn't affect me but I have seen it on TV more than a dozen times and god knows how many times on various websites.

    Nope Windows 10 is supported for 6 months. Then you need bi annual update. 9 months for the pro version if you choose to defer updates on the CBB business update channel.

    Afterwards you are not supported and shit will break if you do update. I ll take Linux Ubuntu LTS thank you very much ... If I didn't have a need for Windows software sigh

    CBB is 8 months minimum
    LTSB is 10 years.

    why wouldn't they, they have supported every other OS for the last 20 odd years to "at least" the advertised EOL, many have received extensions beyond that.

    The thing to reassure people of is the fact the bubonic plague is treatable now unlike back then not that it can't live in the ground as that is a fairly pointless reassurance as the bacteria is still very much alive and well in the world. It still occasionally raises its head with outbreaks and results in 100+ deaths a year.
