From the images in the article it appear that the radius of the greenhouse will be greater than the height of the tower. How can that possibly be cost effective?
My biggest complaint is the lack of information about the upgrade process. I currently have a Mac running 10.5.8 Server and I haven't been able to find anything that will tell me if any of my settings will migrate if I upgrade to 10.6 and then to 10.7 and then add the Server addon. Do I have to start over at that point or will my server settings be maintained through that process?
Seems like this might be a situation a lot of people could be in if they didn't want to shell out another $500 for 10.6 Server but are now interested in upgrading to 10.7 Server.
Pricing information would have been helpful for this article. A big piece of whether or not a diesel Cruze will sell in the US is what the initial cost is and how long before the owner sees a return on the investment.
Right now, regular unleaded is $3.74 at the corner station and diesel is $3.99. Unless the diesel Cruze is the same price or cheaper than the Eco Cruze, then there really is no incentive to the US consumer to buy it.
Maybe if they offered their entire DVD library via streaming. But even then, there are still many people who don't have streaming hooked up to their TV or are in a rural area where they have no access to broadband.
Has anyone considered this being a major flaw in this system? It's potentially one in the current system. When you go through security now all they do is look at your ID, your ticket and you. As long as the name on the ticket matches the name on the ID and the picture on the ID matches you, they send you through.
Will this new system require some sort of password or will it rely on the same insecure methods we use today to verify ID?
Couldn't agree more. Why should I pay a premium to go see something at a theater when there is a 100% chance that some jackass is going to piss me off and ruin the movie for me?
I don't go to movies in the theater anymore because of that, not the cost. I'd rather wait and get the DVD or BluRay and watch it in the comfort of my home.
The movie industry needs to ditch the theater model and figure something else out. Of course they won't because they want to you spend $8 per ticket to see the movie and then 6 months later spend $20 to buy it. If they just did direct to disc or streaming options it would cut their revenues in half.
So, because what Sony is doing does not affect 'average gamer' but only small group of people, then it is okay?
I see.
But you are okay with the small group releasing the names, logins, passwords, email addresses, and credit card numbers of the larger group as a way of trying to punish Sony?
If the small group has such great hacking skills, perhaps their time would be better spent hacking their own PS3s instead of attacking the larger group.
That average gamer is the one validating the actions of the company. He's like the voter who keeps the dictator in power. If the dictator then unfairly punishes some minority group, the voter has to take some of the responsibility. He's not the one giving the orders but he's enjoying his personal freedoms at the expense of someone else, he shouldn't be surprised if a bunch of those someone elses get together and treat him and the dictator he supports with similar distain.
So then vote with your money by not buying a Sony product. If you don't want to abide by the rules of the amusement park, then don't buy a ticket. Don't burn the amusement park down.
...if sony came out and apologized for being asshats and promising to never do it again.
I wonder if they realize the only people they really hurt by doing this is the average gamer who just wants to play a video game and doesn't give a crap about "jailbreaking" their PS3.
So do they pay me for not using the chat? Because the first thing I do in Black Ops is mute everyone. I don't need to listen to everyone's background music or worse, their neglected, screaming babies.
I keep getting that question from random people. "Have you found Jesus?" That guy must be seriously lost. I mean worse than Charlie Sheen's television career, or Donald Trump's political ambitions. Totally gone.
You too? I really wish someone would find that guys so people would stop asking me where he is.
Is anyone out there good at finding Waldo and Carmen Sandiego? Maybe we could recruit those people to to find him. Or, I bet Seal Team 6 could find him.
The closing line about justifying funding for pure physics research 'Do you use a mobile phone? Some of that technology came about by black hole research'."
To what bit of mobile phone technology is he referring?
This is the argument I've been using against the BBC when they've been removing my posts.
How am I, Joe Public, supposed to know this super-injuction even exists?
Unless I'm told that mentioning Ryan Giggs is off-limits, how am I to know? I'm not a news organisation, I'm not a journalist, I don't work in the courts, I can't even attend the hearing.
My name is Joe Public and I broke the super-injuction. Lock me up for two years... if you can catch me copper!
That would be hilarious. I can see it now. They should make this be announcement saying that you cannot talk about how Ryan Giggs is having an affair with said "minor celebrity" (really whoever57, you couldn't just name the minor celebrity?). Brilliant!:)

Scottish sheep farmers have been mixing their DNA with animals for centuries.
I think we need to start a campaign to ensure that the first person to try your Gecko is a doctor named Curt Connors.
OS X Server doesn't let you complete screw up the computer the way AD group policies that screw up registry permissions do.

It's a town in the Seattle area. So, it's likely a codename.
I'm sure the real name for it will be something cool like Bing or Zune or Kin. Maybe Zing or Bune.
Of course whatever they call it, it will come in Starter, Home Premium, Professional and Ultimate.
Maybe. This was the mid-90's. Their CS program was fairly new and staff by the math department so....
My CS101 course in college thought the best language to start us on was Scheme. Endured a semester of that before we could move up to C++.

Mythbusters already busted this myth.
Or possible from True Lies?
Boobs.
Ah, right.

AT&T's network.
Yes, iTunes has a Finland store.
Let me know when they figure out how to install it in a person. I know quite a few people for whom this would be a considerable upgrade.
I disagree. Swingers had no plot.
