Not to mention, you can carry around 12 songs while I carry around 3500.
And the last thing I want is my audio player using up my mobile phone's batteries, especially when my train gets stuck on the subway and I want to block out the crying children.
I've been playing FF X-2 for around 2 weeks (got it day after release).
Very fun. All of Spira is open from the get-go, and you have missions all over the place.
Animation and graphics are top-shelf.
You only get the three playable characters, but it's kind of cool figuring out which dresspheres (jobs) you want them to specialize in. For instance, I've been training: Yuna - Gunner, White Mage, Black Mage, Songstress Rikku - Thief, White Mage, GunMage, Warrior Paine - Warrior, Samurai, Black Mage
I have never played an FF where I used "Phoenix Down" so often! Monsters are generally pretty tough, and the girls get KO'ed a lot.
The Songstress class is silly. The character actually insists on going "La La La" when you cast a 'sing' spell.
There have been some fun minigames so far. And there's the slight disturbing, pseudo-lesbian "massage" game in LeBlanc's HQ...
RTF goes into cvs/perforce/etc. as a text file. DOC goes in as a binary.
So, you can use $Version$, $Author$, whatever in an RTF and they'll get updated by the server when checked in.
You can also text diff RTFs. To get diffs in a DOC, you need to turn MSWord's versioning on and the doc gets bigger and bigger.
Sure, I sacrifice some sizzle sans iPod

If you buy one, why bother taking the battery anywhere?
Pop it out and save a pound.
You're going to need the AC adapter anyway.
Not so true.
My friend just bought a Dell, and within 2 days the price on that configuration was $500 less.
They said they'd send him $220 (some magic calculation on the difference), but instead he sent it back for $100 (minus $25 the CSR arranged).
He then bought a much better system for less $$ as the prices had all come down.
Dell sent Airborne Express to pick it up, and he had used the machine, and also lost the box the speakers came in.
Don't know if this works for everyone, but I do know that he was _extremely_ nice to the CSR.
YMMV.
I'm pretty sure that's what Vipul Razor2 (part of SpamAssassin) does.
I thought people moved to the Southwest because it cured their asthma.
Dry air, none of those annoying trees and flowers.

Dream Weaver... I believe you can get me through the night
Dream Weaver... I believe we can reach the morning light.

I, for one, plan to become a space captain and spend all my time in the bath.
No, a jury of his peers would all be Canadian...
Maybe that's why I had a smiley on it?
Good luck getting the virus writers to follow your RFC.
;-)
I know. I used to work at a company they acquired.
Yes, but iPods don't have the "Helix" DRM that Real will use.
Real's AACs will be protected with their own proprietary "Helix" DRM, which is not readable by iPods.
Tunes from Real's store will NOT work on iPods.
Tunes from Apple's store WILL work in the new RealPlayer b/c it is calling out to QuickTime/iTunes to do the DRM work.
> But, c'mon....minimum wage for an educated person? I can't believe any US business would expect that.....
They don't. That was the rep for the worker's group being snarky.
I wonder if I could offload some of my compiles to TiVo...
:-)
Plus, I think in the episode with Edward's father, he (the father) refers to Edward as his daughter.
Then you can pretend it's all gambling debts like she says at the beginning of the series.
...with a name that doesn't match gender.
I think they're just worried that people will rediscover the ancient art of ferret legging.
They need to modify fish with Aretha Franklin's genes.
Because I want to be the first post on Slashdot when that happens (in tribute to HHGTTG):
"Holy Zarquon Singing Fish!"

The latter would be reflective of a lot of consultantcies. "We got this great tool! Now let's alter your problem to make it solveable."
I thought stable releases were supposed to be even-numbered?
Better this than SCO attacking little ISPs, webshops, small biz, etc.
Google has the money to go toe-to-toe with them and deliver a proper beatdown to this silliness.
