My point was, if you're going to stream anything to the iPod, why not the free radio service in iTunes first? What transport technology is underneath is irrelevant.
If you're going to put the ability to tune into Sirius on an iPod, why not go all the way and put the streaming radio stations from iTunes onto the iPod? Or even Shoutcast stations (which work in iTunes)?
1) I don't have a typing stand on my desk so I like to put my keyboard in my lap and what I'm reading from where the keyboard was.
2) My Logitech MX700 Cordless Duo has media control keys so when I watch DVDs on the couch, I can use the keyboard as a remote to turn up the volume, pause, etc.
3) Because wireless is TEH 1337!!`1 you silly goose.
Google Maps really is a copy of Mapquest and Yahoo Maps.
Google decided they didn't want maps of their Local searches to go to another search provider, so they created Google Maps and quietly put it to work, that way users stay within Google.
Microsoft is only doing the same thing to promote their MSN search engine and keep users in their site.
With that said, Google Maps is an excellent service, Microsoft will have to really impress me with their maps to convince me to use theirs.
Apple footed the bill to create the mechanism in which to purchase the music (iTMS), why shouldn't they be allowed to profit from it?
Why blame Apple for having so much success with it when anyone else out there can easily create a successful online music store themselves?
This isn't a monopoly we're talking about when there are other choices. You can buy your music online from other places than Apple. It only *seems* like you have to because they do it so well. That's actually a good thing!
It's called the Newton shuffle.
It has no screen, but that's okay because calling random people and making random appointments is what makes going to work interesting and fresh.
Because I've personally never had a problem with Apple's DRM, and I'm a previous MP3 collector who has now purchased quite a large chunk of music from iTMS.
However, my iPod is not the reason why. Being a Windows and Linux user who got to play around on other people's iMacs is why. I've had enough time in OS X to make me want to switch.
Won't happen. Last orbiter that was built, Endeavour, was built out of extra structural parts from Discovery and Atlantis.
We do still have the test shuttle, Enterprise (OV-101), but it isn't outfitted for spaceflight.
He was part of the Original Seven Mercury astronauts, but they pulled him that year for a unforseen "heart condition" in 1959.
14 years later he finally flew, in the joint Apollo-Soyuz docking flight in 1975.
2015 is only 10 years away.

Have you noticed that, althought Apple's own operating system owes a lot to the open source movement, and the thousands of developers whose code they use for free, you and I still cannot run iTunes on our Linux desktop to sync an iPod? No money in it for them...
However, the minute Apple provides a version of iTunes for Linux to satisfy the OSS community, the OSS community will immediately complain that iTunes isn't open sourced and they don't want a binary.:)
1) Kansas State University has a satellite campus in Salina which specializes in aerospace technology. The Global Flyer team decided to use the campus for mission control, and made it a student project. Read more about the selection process here.
2) Salina Municipal Airport is one of the longest runways in the country. It is usually up as an alternate emergency landing site for Space Shuttle missions. You really can't meet anyone from Salina without having them mention this to you, usually several times.:)

What other applications could Cell have besides the Playstation 3? What makes it special, and what applications is it best suited for?

Might make convoy rides a bit smoother.
I bought my 6800 GT for $399 from Micro Center when Doom 3 came out. It's only dropped to $359.
Google Desktop Search pales in comparison. Copernic really deserves to be mentioned more than it has.
They'll put a Tiger in their tank.

As for me, I'm a mind pirate.
Problem solved.

If so, I don't know how they plan on fitting those CDs in this thing every 6 months.
The X logo does look vaguely like a swastika, what with those little serifs thingies on there...
Before we invade Canada. "Someone get Bill Gates in here!" "You told us Windows 98 would be better!"

Which, since they're saving about $29 dollars getting an iPod without FireWire cables, the net effect is the same.
