We still have a sunday tradition of playing a few rounds of the original TecmoBowl on NES before the steelers take to the real field...
Of course, that game has 'real' names, but, as far as I know, the "Ninjas" aren't a real team.
Here's to game play and not team names!
I AM (as in currently, thanks to NesterDC) subject to episodes of tetris block and mario pills falling when my eyes are closed.
I am also pretty sure that my brain was capable of creating a full shuffled and dealt deck of cards for solitare while another part of my brain actually played the deck, with no knowledge of what cards the other part of my brain had arranged where.
It's funny, cause, I had the noon news on (KDKA) yesterday and they said "greensburg kids... vandals... GTA..." and i was in IRC and i was telling people about how this 'dumb news report' blaming GTA for Graphitti, 24 hours later it's apparently/. worthy???
I disagree, I live in greensburg, my youngest brother is... 12... and he plays... GTA... we even live about 2 blocks from teh art museum that they 'hit', yet, somehow, he managed to not EVER spray paint it. I, again, blame the parents, not the game, not the area.
This could be the result of an error I'm guilty of from time to time. Having the homepage set to google, and accidently typing an address in the google search area, OR having the google toolbar and typing the address in there by mistake OR running firefox and just having the search box there.
I used to be a movie theatre projectionist, so, I have a slight amount of insight into this. The AD ads, such as pepsi, coke, etc, are a function of the theatre owners going for profit, the trailers are a function of the movie studios that refuse to give you movies unless you put so many trailers on it (and the DO check). The new anti-piracy ads, however, were not in place when I worked in this field, but I can suggest they probably come from the studios as well.
So remember kids, buy that 1000% markup popcorn!
Boston Bruins vs NY Islanders; Pittsburgh Pirates vs Montreal Canadiens; Atlanta Thrashers vs Washington Capitals
man, I mean, I'm from pittsburgh, and we have had some medicore teams in the last decade, but I still believe that the pirates wouldn't be any better at hockey then the pengiuns. Although, they are both so bad, it would be a fun experiment...
Holy Crap, I think you are serious, and thats scary.
I realized the humor of the game being released without a season the other day when a commercial for it came on.
There is no real precedence for this if I recall, during the baseball strike, games weren't the yearly EA release, but a more general "This is BASEBALL!"
I agree, thats what I thought it was too, and I thought that would be great. Then I also thought "One button?" and then I realized it was mario, not super mario brothers. Then I quickly realized I was a moron and none of what I thought was actually truth.
Personally, I find [H]'s (seemingly increasing) "Look at me" attitude with all their hidden-as-controversy PR 'lawsuits' of late becomming unbearable. I would rather see a site stand up and not have their reviews be such a function of what the manufactures want them to be.
IIRC, the reason Nintendo was behind Sony in the 32 bit days was because the Playstation was actually orginally developed as a Sega-CD type add-on for the SNES. I can't remember the details of this turn of events very well though. Anyone have any further insight into this?
Windows WHATdate?
what in the hell is "brown sauce" sounds... tasty.
Cost/Price ratio just isn't there.
i couldn't even get through reading that damn interview because every question resulted in a whiney ass "It's not my fault" response.
Wow, I REALLY always thought Dune 2 was just the freakin' sequel to the movie...
talk to this guy, seems to think he's the greatest game designer of all time.talk to
I'm capalin, but I'm still gellin'

Put your router/Modem (cable or dsL) on a UPS, and they should both work when the power goes out...
yeah, $120 for a freaking off center backpack!
