Gives me images of the normally quiet halls of the federal reserve, where suddenly the walls open ATM slots and start poring billions in cash willy nilly.
And the chairman, walking away mid-shin in bills, trying to look not guilty.
Feedback to the pilot. I seems to me there needs to be some feedback to the pilot, that he has hit the limit, and no more is available.
Add a little vibratation to the stick, when ever the rate limitation is reached, as if the plane where saying "I hear you, but their ain't no more". Something like that.
It has been reported that Chicago has had great success with turning off skyscraper lighting, during migration periods for birds, which used to fly into the lit buildings.
If buildings could co-operate, and create corridors of darkness for our feathered friends.
Once an actual human person has read and acted on the mail, they should be able to mark it "official business" and/or move the email into an "official business" folder which does get kept as required.
Better procedures and training goes a long way here. These same folks have no problems with snail mail.
The darkness of the oval, how much of it is filled in.
The problem I heard of, was that machines were not calibrated to use "gel pens", but only "carbon pens", and wouldn't read the votes make by the wrong pen.
It seems better than just recording a ballot with no votes, which is perfectly valid vote, if that is what the voter wanted.
There should be a test vote answer, which for which the voter is required to vote, for their ballot to be valid.
This would check that the machine is properly calibrated, because if it didn't read a check mark in the test vote, reject the ballot right then and there, so the voter can fill in the box(es) such that the machine reads it.
There are lots of companies in the portable power plant business. Getting a semi-trailer sized plant on site in 12 hours isn't that big a deal, big bucks though, on short notice.
Big construction sites, festival events, etc are regular users of these services.
BSD refuses to die. Free, Net, and Open have their supporters and developers.
A server is a computer that doesn't have a user physically in front of it.

American Airlines has been around for long time, I'd guess there is a lot of legacy code running on mainframes.
Stuff like scheduling and cargo loading was mentioned.

The repair labor is outsourced to UPS's facility.
UPS is adding services above and beyond shipping. I remember 8-9 years ago having them do warehousing and packing.
It is handy for a growing company to just buy more space from UPS, than having to build ever increasing warehouses.

Lead shielded drywall is what is used for doctors and dentists offices that want to be protected from X-rays. Blocks lower RF frequencies as well.
"in the country"
Why stop there? No wonder why American kids do so badly in geography and other subjects.
A blog is created for or by a person. A plog is for an event or project.
Given that most people have more than one project going at a time, and are interested in multiple projects.
With the spring festivals and such in full swing, I can see where a plog would be terrrific for putting together such a community event.
Traditionally, the old grain mills used a big water wheel, which turned at a low rpm, to drive the mill stones.
An undershot wheel, where the water goes under the wheel would work, if you can force the water under, and not around it.
From there, simple gearing will give you what ever speed you need.

dihydrogen monoxide is nasty thing, which can harbor bacteria and other nasty things to you.
It is best to dilute it slightly with ethanol, as this kills the bugs.
Adding hops, barley, yeast, and letting it mix for a while is a very good way of adding the ethanol.
Hopefully, this is just the first step towards that goal.
Given the 40 or so years between the DoD's ARPA net experiments and what we have now, it isn't that far fetched.
Now checking 2,748,779,069.440 bytes of memory, please wait.....
The rovers found signs saying "go home yankee imperialists" and "free mars forever".

Is the pretty blue glow which is given off when particles are slowing down, when they are traveling to fast for the medium they are in.
Most commonly seen in water nuclear reactors, but can seen around any really hot radioactive source.
I visited a friend's workplace last week, a machine shop.
He said that diamond tooling has made a big change in his workplace, allowing heat treated steel to be machined rather than ground.
It sounds better than D-Flat, at least to the marketing droids.
Nudity
There is no lack of technical and IP law cases in tech's immediate future.
Knowing absolutely nothing about GrokLaw's setup, I'd make a SWAG that they need bandwidth more than CPU power.
Even a cheap PC these days can move a lot of data. My guess is their pipe is overloaded before the CPU is.
Now what is needed is a catchy term for a whole lot of bandwith terminating in a single place.
