You're actually correct with your assumption. With CRTs, Black areas use less voltage than white areas. But, I dont think it works the same way with lcds.

Actually, Walmart sells a sempron 2200+ linspire pc for $200. Add a $25 capture card, a $25 IR or RF remote, and 2 ratshack RCA/stereo conveters for $5, then you have your own PVR ($255). Best part is, you can decide want you want in it, a web browser, dvd player, mp3 jukebox, its up to you.
I had a friend with such an affliction, he was able to hold a pencil with his mouth and use that to type. He would joke about looking like a pigeon, but he was in fact faster at typing than most abled people.
John Stewart, while very funny, definatly wears his politics on his shoulder. Stewart speaks his mind and has openly supported one political party over the other. The CBS anchor job requires a neutral position, so that the newscast is not agenda driven like Foxnews or CNN. Dan Rather was actually good at hiding his political beliefs, I doubt Stewart could be as successful.
You're right, it was a really poor choice of words. What I should of entitled my post: "What features do you think MS ported from Firefox?". I'll remember next time!
But I'm glad the mods finally saw the brilliance of me prophesizing tabs in IE7;)
You're absolutly right and thank you for pointing out my bad choice in words. I should of entitled my post: "I wonder what features MS has ported from Firefox?".
the prophecy has been fulfilled
3D Realms upon learning of this new technology has decided to push back "Duke Nukem Forver" until the engine rewrite is completed.
.I'm starting to think this is done on purpose.
that was the better half of my brain trying to tell the idiotic side to STFU, I already apologized before your post.
RTFA..sorry..weak moment
I mean its still on the front page..I'm starting to think this is done on purpose.

So its like a pay BT site?
as long as the movie is good
Its beautiful, but i feel sorry for the poor soul who beta tested this.
right?
The more the merrier. Man Spaceflight is sorta like Chess, its no fun playing by yourself. This will foster competition and everyone wins!
holy snikeys
im waiting on a dart that can hold the full Library of Congress contents, then it will be worth its weight in gold!
it looks like her hand after right after a number 2 (back when the first images were posted to the WWW, they didn't have "TP")
The interview is a 30MB MP3 file
*snickers* This was really a great idea!

Tivo's something I've always found neat, but the cost and/or monthly fees has always made me want to roll my own with MythTV
Nothing for you to see here. Please move along.

Your ideas intrigue me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
working for google would probably be pretty cool don't you guys think?
but how fast is "near native"? Some would consider WINE near native in certain aspects, in short, WHERES THE BEEF?
