Yes, it is your fault. You are not the police. You are not God. Stop trying to control traffic with YOUR over-inflated sense of entitlement.
YOU are the single point of failure in these scenarios. You are outnumbered by the people wanting to go 69 (or whatever speed) in a 65.
I typically drive about 4-6 mph over on the freeway. I have no problem moving to the right (or even the center) lane when someone wants to go faster than me. Neither should you. The only reason in the world for you to think it's OK to sit in the left lane going the same speed as the person in the next lane over is because you think you are in control. You are a bad-ass wannabe traffic director.
Get out of the way of the other people needing or wanting to move faster than you.
The former is understandable, but if it's the latter, why should I make room for you to break the law (go over 65)?
Because then YOU are the reason traffic gets sponged into one area, making for more dangerous scenarios. Why be a jackass and hold up traffic in the lane that's designed for people to pass in? Simply move over and go the same speed you were in the first place. There are laws in some areas that require you to be in the right lane(s) unless you are passing. So, if you are sitting there in the left lane, YOU are breaking the law. As they say, two wrongs don't make a right.
When signs say "slower traffic keep right" they mean slower than the speed limit.
This is the law a was referring to above that you are apparently aware of, but seemingly choose to ignore. And no, it doesn't mean those "doing less than the speed limit". This means everyone. Yes, you too.
You are correct. No one is entitled to a job. Though, if you are a hard worker and a top performer, you should be recognized and compensated accordingly. Not fired because you *make too much*. Whose fault is it that they were making that much to begin with?
You are also correct in saying that a company's job is to make money. However, a company will not fare very well if it's employees aren't happy employees. Turn around is much higher, therefore raising training costs.
When a company treats its employees like dirt, expect the employees to treat the customers like dirt.
There is a delicate balance between employer and employee. One can't survive without the other. Sooner everyone realizes this, the better off society as a whole will be.
And you are basing your opinion on an RC version of the software? While I understand that RCs are supposed to be just what their name implies, there are certainly some fixes between an RC and actual release. Drivers are also not the responsibility of Microsoft. I have not had a look myself at any version of Vista, but at least try the release and obtain some release versions of drivers and fully compatible software before forming your opinion.
I wouldn't completely blame the powers that be as it is a natural disaster, however, (according to this blurb) plans were in place to upgrade infrastructure to alleviate the potential problems that are now obviously very real.
There is obviously an inverse relationship between war spending and the inflow of federal money to fund these sorts of projects.
Easy target for vandals... Expensive repair. Better have a lockdown (a country club style, if you will) cemetary for this one, as any public version will surely not last long.
...of the simple fact that most cannot accept change (it's also an example of too much time on someone's hands to even study this "phenomenon".)
I use IM's all the time and use these forms of "shorthand". However I do not run around using lol instead of actually laughing, nor do I tell my cube farm neighbor "b-r-b" when I will be right back.
I have been using Wikipedia for some time now, and I have never experienced a latency issue. Perhaps I am hitting it at off peak times but I do not notice the lag you speak of.
And you expect me to have read every single article available to humankind. All I asked for was an article link supporting your statement. No need to flame.
Yes, Complete-ly able to crash my FF browser up on load.
Perhaps this isn't the fault of Map24, and moreso the problem of my JRE. This brings up another point, though, since this is Java enabled, I would think that there would be JRE version problems?
From TFA: "Longer term, we expect EA to extend its sports portfolio into sports that ESPN has historically been strong in, like X Games, bass fishing, and poker."
Not a single fuck was given.
Speak for yourself!

At least they give you a time-frame, even if it is a false hope date. AT&T won't tell me a thing.
I did not. Thank you for clarifying that. I apologize for my naiveté :)

Hmm... a DVD Drive obsolete? Since when?

Actually, rumor has it that Al Gore invented that, not Apple.

Any source to your statement? I have not heard anything like this.
"Personally I even type "apple" in the google bar sometimes, its easier than www.apple.com"
Or you could save yourself even more time, by typing "apple" in the address bar and hitting "ctrl-enter"
(inserts the http://www.|whatever-you-typed|.com for you)
Works in IE and Firefox, not sure about the others.
But there is definitely something magic about spelling magic umm... majik... I kid!

Unless the math was 3.5 times your age... 70 = 245
Sure, and I will be uber 1337 on UT2004 and WoW on my Playstation too, won't I?
From TFA: "Longer term, we expect EA to extend its sports portfolio into sports that ESPN has historically been strong in, like X Games, bass fishing, and poker."
Since when did poker become a "sport"??!
Maybe I am missing something, but Bloomberg opened just fine in my Firefox browser. I even checked navigation and had no problems.
