    Yes - I am still trying to find a point to this summary/links to random articles and what the 'news' really is here:

    iTunes is bloated.
    Most iPhones users use Windows.
    Most Windows users are unable to use more than 1 app to manage their phone.
    iOS 5 and the iCloud will save the day.

    Them politicians are the ones that seem to lie to us.

    These are the same politicians that engage in this debate to win votes/push agendas.

    I am sure the scientists would rather me leave them to it - whether they are stupid or otherwise.

    So... an entire field of scientists doing their utmost to produce the most accurate models of climate change, with ever-improving accuracy and consensus on their work are being politically manipulated? They are _all_ blindly stupid or complicit? That appears to be what you're saying.

    Simply: Yes.

    And there are many in between stupid and complicit.

    The whole global warming debate is politically motivated....

    Ah, I love the ignorance of dumb Europeans

    Also, and very importantly, US citizens, through taxes and insurance, sponsors to a great degree health care in Europe. They do this by paying for medications developed by US companies in full, not at cut-rate prices. In this way, the people in the US pays for development and testing of drugs that Europeans get access to. Europe is hardly in the forefront of pharmaceutical development.

    Ah, I love the arrogance of Americans.

    I would expect any 1st world country *not* to turn people away from an ER room.....if you may have cancer on the otherhand....?

    What is the healthcare like if you do not have insurance?

    What % of the population has heathcare?

    It is a case of better the devil you know, from what I read he was *expecting* Google to be a 'technology company that empowered its employees to innovate' - turns out they aren't....they are only interested in making money from information gained through their technology.

    His perception of Google has changed, his perception of Microsoft has little to do with this.....

    Indeed, and DNS lends itself very well for this purpose.

    Server 1
    A Record: web.location.domain.com

    Backup Server:
    A Record: web.location2.domain.com

    Or webA.location etc...

    CNAME: www.domain.com then points to the 'live' server.

    Our IT network uses this convention, annoys the hell out of the network engineers as we now have servers like cerise, cerulean etc...black and white was fine ;)

    Wrong. Many sites share information on their visitors to 3rd parties, this allows said 3rd parties to track and profile you. You do not have to click a link, it happens in the background.

    Ghostery sees the invisible web - tags, web bugs, pixels and beacons. Ghostery tracks the trackers and gives you a roll-call of the ad networks, behavioral data providers, web publishers, and other companies interested in your activity.

    The value is in people who understand what the *business* needs to develop.

    So many ways to skin a cat in this industry.

    Find someone who understands your business and how they can develop it and 'move it forward'.

    If they can also 'code' - look after them ;)

    Yes that is pretty much spot on. A few years back this happened in the UK, but I am struggling to find a successful prosecution.

    I received a 'warning' email, it simply showed my IP address and the name of a torrent file.
