I've only been using iTunes for a week, and I'm in love! Songs for 99 cents a pop can not be beaten by the other stores (especially the ones with a subscription fee!)
Quite honestly I only use IE because Microsoft forces you to for windows Update (I use auto update now anyways) and for Yahoo! Avatars (because the freaks there don't use netscape or firefox).
I've used Mozilla for quite a while (Netscape before that) and switched to Firefox about a month ago -- never looked back!
Why don't you go out and physically borrow the CD from a friend. Or (god help us) buy it for yourselves - even use iTunes, it's cheap!
I've never used GAIM, but I'd hate to see it go down the toilet because of this!
As soon as this article pops up, two spelling/grammar errors. First there's "microsfot" in the article and then "should should" in one of the comments.
On the other hand -- way to go on releasing Linux with a newspaper. That's just cool...
For what I like to do, Ava Find is better. Google's search limits you to AIM, Microsoft products, and Outlook. However, I use OpenOffice.org and Gmail (and I don't want to log my AIM conversations).
This is just another attempt by Microsoft to conquer the entire computing market at once.

w00t!
can't you tell I signed up like a week ago?
But Metroid has been an awesome series. However, I'm looking forward to the DS game more (already out I believe). Multiplayer!
What's Tomcat?

What about all the Linux Distos, that are all at least 1.4 Gb each?
Why would you voluntarily use IE?
So people are as stupid as they look...
and yet it still uses a google search. Even though the interface may not offer the most, it is the simplist and I find it gives the best results.
I can not use any other search engine other than google. It's just impossible for me
