The bitching on this board about having to wait an hour or so to play is unbelievable. These people better stay away from any MMORPG or they will have heart attacks. So the servers were overloaded. Wait a bit. Does everyone have to play the INSTANT they get the game home? Haven't you ever had to download a patch for a new game? Did you scream bloody murder then cause you couldn't play instantly?
It matters because Microsoft does not want any modded Xboxes on Live. It is their service, they get to choose under what terms they will provide the service. If you don't like it, don't use the service.

Slavery of human beings was enacted by an elected Congress, signed into law by an elected President, and survived numerous Supreme Court challenges. Does that make it right? Constitutional? By your reasoning, it must have been a good, safe, Constitutional Law.

The terrorists have won because the US Government, and Shrub in particular, have allowed them to win by reacting to the attacks just the way they wanted us to.
Why this country elected a man who deserted the military and did not fulfill his commitment in the first place is beyond me...

I totally agree. The kids running around claiming Halo is the best game ever just never played all the PC FPS out there. Sure it is probably the best Console FPS out there, but best game ever?
And yes, I have played the whole thing, even though I wanted to throw the damn controller out the window half the time. Keyboard/mouse is the only way to play FPS.
There was only one person responsible for the deaths of your family members. Themselves! None of those organizations listed forced your relatives to smoke. They chose to, they paid the price.

I couldn't freaking believe it when the guy at EB asked if I wanted to buy an extended warranty for my copy of GTA:SA. $3 for one year extended warranty. What, like my copy of the game is going to fail in six months?
Almost worse then when Wickes Furniture tried to sell me a 3 year extended warranty for my bedroom furniture that cost 1/5 the price of the furniture!
Then you authenticate where you do have a net connection, then once authenticated, you can play all you want on the airplane, etc. You only need to authenticate it ONCE when you install it.
Obviously you never encountered that wonderful dark red paper with blue writing that couldn't be scanned or photocopied. Or at least couldn't with the technology available at the time.
How dare these companies make me jump through hoops just to play a game. When I want to pull out my copy of Archon and play it I should be able to. How dare they require me to have a 5 1/4 floppy to play, they should provide me a CD based version 20 years after the fact!!

Nintendo seems to underestimate their battery life rather than overestimate it. My GBA SP lasts much longer than the time stated by Nintendo.
