Phosgene gas in an oxygen tent would work, I have inhaled that before and it just made me want to go to sleep. That would be very peaceful.

Are they going to include the Windows classic interface? That is my favourite interface, it is very simple and sleek, hopefully that will be an option.

Concerning the OpenOffice debacle, I always used to uninstall Gnome and OpenOffice and then install a vanilla build of OpenOffice from a rpm pack and then I could run OpenOffice without any of the Gnome dependencies. But that was a while ago... Is Libreoffice the same?

And they really should have used Debian instead of Ubuntu, the 11.04 release is getting very bloated with the Unity / Gnome 3 desktop.

This is the first quantum supercomputer, a 128 qubit machine that is already here. I am not sure how it compares to the machine planned in the OP, but it would be quite good for cracking a password hash or any other number crunching task for sure. Obviously if this is available to Lockheed Martin, then I am sure that the NSA have already taken ownership of machines like this as well. But this could simulate the weather better than existing machines and improve long term forecasts as well as predict financial data.

    The future is here.

I would love to see a solar flare like this on a hyper-giant star like VY Canis Majoris, that would be unbelievably awesome. That star is 3,000,000,000 KM in diameter, truly dwarfing the Sun which is 1,470,000 KM. It is truly amazing how small we really are on a stellar scale.
