he wanted to cut overtime pay for nearly everyone making over 30k a year... Now lets think which one will be more over time pay a 100k engineer. Or a 20k intern. My bets are on the engineer.
I probably helps that nintendo has been seen (as far as I know) as a company that has had a long long history of being a rather "good", innovative, and untainted (compared to it's counterparts). I personally like nintendo, regardless of what others say.
How is voice over IP any different than having a microphone in yahoo messanger? Except the fact that you get a phone number, and are able to access non voice over IP locations. A FCC ruling could clamp down on already free services like yahoo messanger who have been free for years! Think about it, FCC ignorance could control things like all voice communication on the internet (video game, messanger, etc).
Mozilla is doing "goog things" and I will continue to support their efforts, they have revolutionized browsing in my opinion.. There are features on firefox that are seen no where else in the market. I support innovation, and creative thinking ( most often in a monetary way:-) )
I say it time and time again.. Microsoft is not a company of innovation (besides user interfaces), they are a company that aquires other companies. It is doubtful that a home-grown engine will beat the likes of google.. Especially being so late in the game, not only that what good will a face lift do? Google is already one of the easiest things out there, how can Microsoft make search even easier? THAT is the 100 million dollar question!
BSD is an excellent operating system if your trying to lock down a network, or some other coperate enviroment.. Just look at their history with security, which is pretty convincing. So I say kudos to milestone release 5.3, I know I will be trying it.

This has the image of (good ideas gone bad) written all over it. What if one of the terrorists get ahold of these? They now have a new way to terrorize.. Think about it, US american solders held hostage by their own robots!
Why are there these cards at all? Shouldn't the electronic voting machine contact a local district with results via phone line. Make it work much more like a fax machine (transmit results to a location). If the phone line is dead then should a AUTHORIZED person only be able to remove data from the device..

Yey for IBM. Now I can stop hearing about the earth simulator and how great it is
I like the spin that the white house put on it. Loss of american jobs, pfft.
To bad, that sure was funny! I have seen movies base their entire story line off of a single funny thing though.
I sure hope the highlight of the movie isn't MR. Incredible getting his belt buckled.
These speciality pc's are technicians worst nightmare!
