    I was more upset by this little nuget at the start of the article: "But it's official folks, official enough that it's probably safe to say 'Freddy vs Jason vs Ash' is dead."
    I know it's been said to be dead for some time, but I keep hoping. Oh well...

    Just to make sure we're all on the same page here. That's the same book where P.K. Dick claims that a strange light beam strikes his forehead giving him knowledge. That's the same book where he claims the break out of his space/time and enter into another one where he's living in ancient Rome. Now, are you *sure* that for him, reality didn't go away? ;)

    The other strong possibility is that the $265 bid isn't serious. I've seen a lot of bid retractions and non-paying bidders in my time on e-bay, especially when I price gets as crazy as that. Just my experience however. -Diomedes
