Amazing! If this lasts then my music library will become legal... not that it/wasn't/ legal in the first place, I just mean it will become *more* legal than it was... Err...
Popped up on MyBittorrent although I'm not sure if it's legit or not... MYBT shows so seeds/leechers, but there's quite a few once you start the transfer.

Pfft my high school uses mimio boards and Palm handhelds, and an elementary school gets to be on Slashdot? =)
Anyhoo, the mimio boards are really nice, it's a LOT easier to type notes from a nice powerpoint than from a teachers nasty hand writing.
I don't see what the big deal is with this little elementary kids though, because my school's been "High tech" since Fall 2003 when it was constructed =P
"Hey Palm, I have a Treo 650, could you send me that free SD card now?...Proof of purchase? What? You don't believe me? OF COURSE I have a Treo 650, it's right here!....somewhere..."
A lot of you seemed turned off immediately when the acronym "AOL" appeared, but did you even bother to try out the program yet? I've been using it for a week or so now, and I'm really impressed with it's music-streaming capabilities. It's like iTunes' network sharing abilities on crack.

I spoke too fast:
:(
(from the FAQ)
"Can I Download Songs From the Napster Free Service?"
You must purchase songs to download them to your computer using the Napster Free service.
"Can I Really Listen to Napster Music for Free?"
Yes. Here's how it works. You can listen to every track in our 2,000,000 song catalog up to 5 times...
So it's not really free. It's just like Pandora or Last.FM but with a price tag. Misleading Slashdot title

Also, seeing as I had the first reply to this article, I would like to say I own at causing internet political drama.

I really love the spin this story has... "EVIL Republicans RUIN the Internets!"
Oh this was supposed to be a political joke. lawl.
Mind-control slugs are much better!
Oh those worms from 'The Wrath of Khan' are real? Well then I hope they're on ebay 'cause I need a couple of these buggers...
Indeed
If that link doesn't work, <a href="http://img162.imageshack.us/my.php?image=un<nobr>t<wbr></wbr></nobr> itledkeke3xi.jpg">here you go!</a>

Unlike wine, flash movies do not get better with age =P
...and I have a Sony DVD-RW! All Sony needs to do now is start producing, directing, and funding movies, and they won't be losing any money from me
All I got was:
:D
"We could not process the selected torrent. Please try again."
Maybe it was just a crap file so TorrentSpy pulled it, or perhaps it was the real deal and supporter groups of the DMCA gave TorrentSpy a call
How can this story be slashdot-worthy if the fan isn't even running Linux!
Doy! Seems like it's the same fake-torrent posted on mininova... sorry! :(
I tried to grab this one but it wasn't legit... twas' empty space... Nero 6 bruned it, though, even though it was nothingness =D

Those go for a lot on ebay, though... Sort that link by "highest price" and you'll most likely end up with actions ending in the upper one-hundreds...
Woaho... you currently have a score of 4 - "Insightful" and you only typed two words... Is this a new record folks? :D
Ah! Beware of thine tongue - You may be smited and/or shanked by the powers that be!
