    Blu-ray and HD DVD both allow for decryption keys to be updated in reaction to attacks, for example by making it impossible to play high-definition movies via playback software known to be weak or flawed. So muslix64 work has effectively sparked off a car-and-mouse game between hackers and the entertainment industry, where consumers are likely to face compatibility problems while footing the bill for the entertainment industry's insistence on pushing ultimately flawed DRM technology on an unwilling public.
    Never heard or Car-and-Mouse, though it may be a bit more fun than Cat-and-Mouse

    I know my personal reason to obey the law, is more fear of punishment than any moral sence of right or wrong, if I could steal, and get away with it, I would, kill w/o rem,osre too if it was allowed, though I think dueling between between concenting adults should also not be punishible by law...

    I messed w/ an earlier version, the only major Issue I had was that they tried ot get you to use CNR for everythign, thoug seeing as it debian based, i tended to use atp-get for installing software, I liked the simple install, it was easier than any otehr linux distro or any os since MS-DOS you jsut choose where you want ot install it dose the rest.

    I use 1and1.com myself, they seem to be quiet affordible, and have a nice linux servers to host on, besides me my borther and cousin had had good expeinces with them.

    I work for Armstrong Cable in Butler, PA, we don't give info of any sort, out w/o a court order I know, users or account info, we do have a relitivly styrick spam/virus policy though and will turn off outgoing mail if we get complaint on an IP address, though that info dosne't leave our building unless the customer them self calls in.

    I knwo Wplug in western PA seems to have a lot of professional type members, and seems to answer questions quickly on IRC or their mailing lists, but as a purely professional list I'm not sure if one exists.

    I can seen in now:
    We have hired a few strippers to insitute our new policy, of strip searches, we didn't want you to feel uncomfortible being the onlyoe naked at the time.

    Right on, I'd also like to know where people think that money spent on domestic projects (yes space exploration is domestic, it's not really going international form us other than the space station, and even then we're supplying our portion w/ from the country, not out sourcing it I believe) is being spent in our economy as I mentioned in my reply to this thread ;)

    Well this actually this pumps a larg ammount of ash into our ecomomy, we're paying companies, wich in turn pay employees, wich in turn filerts into the genral economy, big govt. contracts like anyhting for NASA will benifit our economy just as much as any legislation or other atempts at stimulating the economy... and the funny thing about alot of "forgien" companies are manufacuturing her ein the US and "domestic" companies are manufactureing abroad, so it's really ahrd to tell where somethign it made by branding...
