    Copyrights and patents are given to authors and inventors exclusively. Exclusive as in monopoly. The government gives them.
    Which is different from any other property laws in what way, pray tell? I suppose the prohibition of theft can be derived from fundamental trigionometry? Or perhaps it just fell out of the sky?

    A free market is one where the seller is free to sell (or to not do), the buyer is free to buy (or to not do) at a price they find mutually acceptable. You seem to be confusing it with a free-for-all.

    This "menu" is known as the "Task Manager" in XP and above.
    That's illogical. If one of the things the menu leads to is task manager, how can it be task manager? Task manager manager would make more sense. Or senior VP of tasks.

    It is up to the plaintiff to declare that the courts hold no jurisdiction over them.
    Why would someone who initiates a lawsuit try to have it declared void? I'd certainly call that person a moron!

    I guess someone thinks they can. From TFA: they 'agreed to hire independent organizations to monitor porn sites' compliance with the new rules

    I have two questions: one, who are these independent organisations. Two, are they hiring?

    That might well be the law. It might be relevant to this case too, if Illinois courts had jurisdiction over the UK.
