Correct this has little to do with Windows Mobile, and will never be put on any phone, I usually expect more Slashdoters to realize this is a B.S. article but so far only you.
What Sizzle? I don't hear anything, I usually can't tell the difference between 128 bit MP3 and anything else, but perhaps I'm deaf. I might prefer it because its small plays on any device, but I'm not (consciously at least) enjoying me some sweet sizzle cause I don't hear it.
I hate smug douches who brag about not watching or not even owning a TV, just because 90% of a medium is crap doesn't mean you throw it out, 90% of every medium is crap. TV just got a bad rap. It may be hard to believe with the giant shadow of reality TV blocking out the sun, but there are great TV shows. Dexter, Mad Men, Colbert, you get the idea.
Hear hear!, everyone should do it for some amount of time. I work in development and found my time in helpdesk to be at times torture but you learn and grow a lot, and now I'm surrounded by people who need to do a lot of learning and growing.
I like how MS gets bashed for totally ripping off design from Firefox and others, while at the same time for having 'irrepressible arrogance when it comes to design'.
Wait, last time I checked Facebook doesn't automaticly install apps you have to do it and confirm you are allowing this app to acccess some of your information. They don't give third parties your info, you do.
I see your point but isn't the end result of stealing a Slurpee, and shooting someone . . One stolen Slurpee, and one potentially dead person? Where as the end result here is some changed grades, and lots of accessed information.
Your right comedy shows shouldn't be funny they should help otherwise disinterested people become polarized.
Wait what?
Colbert brings the funny I don't care what your view points on anything are, if you bring the funny you bring the funny, and Stewart stop doing that long ago.
Cable cards? Last time I checked, besides over the air or unencrypted HD, the only way devices that can record HD content from your cable or satellite provider is with a cable card. If there is anything that's had more hardware problems than the xbox, without any of the popularity, its cable cards. Until that whole situation gets figured out I don't see anyone providing a good HD DVR.
Wait a minute you have people writting documentation for xml schema that don't understand XML? Sounds like the XML schemas I have to consume. You don't work for the state of MN do you?
I think the opposite is true. Haven't they tried to force them to do this many times before and had lobbyists squash it? I think last time it was touted as more of a control thing, like parents can choose not to have some channel they don't want. I think your looking at it from too small of a scope, the telecom company, I mean companies, also sell advertising the more TV you watch they more money they make. If they could make more money doing it, they already would be.
I thought it was locked to Cingular?
It certainly doesn't need to be a huge advance to be a hit, but every review mentions they think that its a huge step forward.
Which would you rather have? Personally I'd side with EVDO. It looks like almost all reviews are calling the iPhone a step forward, but besides subjective cool-looking-ness, and hype, nothing about it is a single step forward (i.e. not done before, but correct me if I'm wrong). However its data network is a step back from the cutting edge, and to me thats the most important part of a gadget phone.
That being said it does look like a lot of the things that it does, which have all been done before, seem to be done well, perhaps better than before (which yes I guess that is something never done before, or a step forward at least). Still if it had EVDO, it could be the best phone available today, if it had something better then it could be close to its hype.
Not that I want a national ID either, but, we kinda already have international IDs, and there called credit cards. I know I was able to pick up airline tickets from a kiosk using my purchasing credit card as ID.

I suspect you can "augment reality" for about 30 seconds, unless plugged in.
The weight of scientific evidence proving people will starve to death if we don't use pesticides to produce enough food, is quite frankly freighting.
It sounds like a joke, but I seriously code best with a gentle beer buzz, my boss will never believe me, but its true.

Loved your comment! Have you read 'Mind of the Market' by Michael Shermer? If not check it out.

Wasn't Yahoo the one who rejected the deal? Even after MS came back and sweetened it?
How do you have native JSON? I thought JSON was basicly just using javascript arrays for ajax transfers instead of xml, am I missing something?
Hear hear!, everyone should do it for some amount of time. I work in development and found my time in helpdesk to be at times torture but you learn and grow a lot, and now I'm surrounded by people who need to do a lot of learning and growing.
I thought it did have data push (Microsoft Direct Push) from exchange, no?

Would be true but new models usually don't come with a default password, you have to set one, and people like to buy new things.
How exactly do you have 2 SLI video cards, and a RAID array in a laptop? Is it 4.5'' thick?

1. Make cliche bomb looking blinky thing.
2. Strap to your chest in a visually prominent position
3. Walk into Boston airport.
For bonus points ignore security questions, and carry play-doh.
perhaps daddy will notice and love you now?

Amen to that!, old dude from little miss sunshine.
