When will people realize that knowing were to obtain the information is far more important than memorizing the information. Eventually your memory will fail and when you rely on it w/o knowing where to find the information or how to correctly wield it, you're screwed anyway.
...we did it the hard way. We used our IT86 graphic calculators to store chemistry and stats formulas. We also wrote on the desk in pencil. I'm glad technology has carried the torch bringing the art of cheating to a new level.
Crap coders rejoice! Your strawman application that some how made it into production for years can now be optimized w/o you having to understand what you were thinking at the time! Seriously, the days of going through and optimizing your code for speed are gone, along with the 8086 with a turbo button.
Close... Grown people choose religion and usually after much "soul searching". We indoctrinate our children into religions which we rarely fully agree with ourselves in a hope that they will understand the religion. We do this because we believe we're going "what is right" and helping the child to a more pure life. However we probably do more harm than good in that they grow up believing "well if my parents believe this shit, that I need to as well." If only we could be honest with our children instead of playing the parent's role all of the time.
This isn't the first. Syria, Iran, and even during Iraq, the Russians have been undermining US efforts. This one is just catching the news because of its absurdity. Plus, IMHO, the US was poking Russia in the eye by supporting the removal of the Pro-Russian Ukrainian leadership - which apparently has backfired.
If only there was a motive for the US to build up or increase the defense budget - or not reduce the defense budget. If there were only something happening which would make some people in the US want to validate their existence.... http://www.nytimes.com/2014/02...
Samsung could just say, "Fine, have the US market and their patent laws. We'll drop the price, take market share in the rest of the world, and the citizens will cry monopoly to get Apply out or buy unlocked phones from overseas."
The US (327,577,529) is such a small market compared to China (1,206,553,000) and India (867,800,000). Unless Apple has such a markup to US customers in comparison to the rest of the world (where it sells), it would make little sense to block competition from the US market.
The winners write the history books. We would be saying that he was a genius and saved us from our pending, self inflicted DOOM... or was that Wolfenstein.
"it's presumably to be used in situations where it doesn't matter that you give your position away."
And presumably against an enemy without a mirror.
Now if we can mount this in a satellite and beam down on it and use the sun as the energy source. Maybe Reagan's Star Wars wasn't so off after all.
What would be a good book to read describing ancient Christianity? I read a couple books describing how Christianity went east first and then west. This gives a hint to the similarities to Buddhism.
... can you plan Doom on it?

It's as odd as FORTRAN (which I still use to for consulting). However, it automates my Game of War farms! Check out the documentation!

Very good point, comrade!
... going to write FORTRAN 77 code in OpenVMS? No seriously, what's OpenVMS going to do?
"I... have... to... go... to... the... bbbbbathro...." "ahhh... nevermind"
Please tell him that the Machus Red Fox Restaurant wants him to finally pay his bill!
I'm glad they didn't use Cyrix CPUs.

It recharges by a bunch of military personal with laser pointers? Won't that give the location away?
