    I understand your problem. There was mention of "iPad" near the beginning and your brain went all mushy for the rest of the post. It happens don't feel bad about it.

    It wouldn't, that's why they include *both*.

    You drop into Android when you're not doing "desktop" work and it's better than dropping into the "Metro" part of Windows 8 - more apps, etc.

    Microsoft has pretty much failed in the "tablet+app store" market. This is just recognizing the fact.

    LED's can't be switched on and off a lot? LOL!

    I often switch mine on/off hundreds of times per second.

    Rubbish. There's no shortage of narcissists out there. All you have to do is come up with the right marketing strategy ("Let everybody know where you are!") and your database will be full in no time.

    recognizing people on the street is perfectly OK, you do it all the time with your built-in eyes.

    I see lots of people on the street without knowing their name and personal profile.

    Ummmm ... hate to bring up Pesky Facts but he was guilty.

    They can't come out and say he wasn't guilty, because he was. That was the law at the time. A very injust law, but very real.

    There's still many countries where it's illegal to be gay, and many others who still don't give full legal rights to homosexuals.

    It's idiocy, but religion isn't logical (and let's face it, it's religion that drives this...)

    Ok, pay attention:

    Mars has no magnetic field to divert the solar wind. This, combined with the lower gravity allowed Mars' atmosphere to escape and/or be blown away. There's still a bit left (Mars has wind), but not enough to prevent the water from evaporating.

    Now, stop trying to be a smart-ass. Ignorant people trying to be smart-asses just make themselves look stupid.

    They should have said: "Hey, it's $10 million bucks, what would you have done?"

    All they're denying is that they "secretly knew Dual EC DRBG was flawed".

    No mention of $10 million payout. Until they deny receiving the money then this is just hot air and the Streisand effect will kill their company.
