Of course not. More processing power=more demanding fans=higher cost of development.
No publisher will now take a risk on innovative games, unless they're self-funded (like Lionhead Studios) or made in developing countries(the Codemasters approach).
If you're looking for hardware this claims to be game compatible and there's an article here which touches on disabled gaming. If software, really you're probably going to be looking at non twitch turn based stuff. As I don't know which genres you're into or what sort of PC you have, I can't really recommend anything.
This man could be in a lot of trouble - the correct legal response to a burglar over here is to give him all your possessions and ask him not so sue you.
Well, is isn't more amusing that an alien is using a US accent without realizing that people from Guildford don't talk like that? I mean this is a character that chose the name "Ford Prefect" because he thought it sounded nicely inconspicuous.
Good point, but then you miss out on the situation where Arthur Dent is willing to accept all of Ford Prefect's weirdness because he's from Guildford.

And have no clue what it's like now, however, I'm quite surprised advances in computer game technology haven't cut into their market. I'd have thought things like the Total War engine, Combat Mission games etc would have crippled the tabletop gaming scene.
Modern nuclear power is cleaner, safer, cheaper and more efficient than it ever was, yet we continue to build toxic, filthy fossil fuel plants. Why?
Because of the relentless, unscientific green PR campaign that's portrayed every nuclear plant as a Chernobyl in waiting. Wind, sun and waves are not always an option, and anti-nuclear campaigning has left no choice but fossil fuels.
In lefty terms:
Capitalism=market based, means of production are owned by a few. Mutualism=market based, means of production are owned by all. Communism=non market based, means of production are owned by all. Stalinism=non market based, means of production are owned by a few.
Obviously that's a very loose set of definitions, based around the Trot line, and changes depending on which lefty cult the person you're talking with belongs to.

Yes, and then after we've all received the Mark of the Beast the Antichrist will come and blablabla. Don't you sky-pixie freaks ever give up?
How the fuck is he supposed to pretend to be from Guildford now?
Who creates land and raw materials?

But Communism in Russia fitted neither of those definitions, unless you believe Lenin's "dictatorship of the proletariat" line.
And a pure free market has as much chance of existing as pure Communism.

That reviewers for magazines that rely on advertising from large publishers tend not to be the best reviewers either.
Can it play ET? Mac fans need something to compensate for the fact that Daikatana was PC only.
