Microsoft: Washington Law!
Google: California Law!
Lee: Whatever! "I look forward to returning to China to begin this exciting endeavour!" (His quote in the AP article)
Well, I agree about the color scheme. But what I was aiming at is if you have an all-encompassing theme to your site, and the standard objects don't fit it (ie. the color or shape doesn't work), it'd be nice to be able to change it. The site I couldn't find that I was thinking of has absolutely everything rounded and shaded in a white/grey 3d effect. On such a site, a standard checkbox would look very out of place. If the color scheme were different, a standard radio button might also look out of place. It's just about cohesiveness.
I'm sure there are better examples, but basically when there is a theme to the website, the standard objects can disrupt the flow. In that above example, this can sort of be seen with the searchboxes.
A story like this would not have made a headline on Slashdot if it didn't involve Google.
You forgot it also involves Microsoft. If only it also involved Linux, we'd have the Slashdot Trifecta!
Two out of 3 ain't bad though.
Microsoft: Washington Law!

Yeah, clearly you got interrupted while doing something productive (ie. posting on Slashdot).
Why would you post such an article on Slashdot?!?

Upcoming article: Why Microsoft is the greatest!
you never know what precious tidbit of information you might get
:)
Or how long you'll have to sort through the trolls/awful jokes to find it
So Linux is a verb now? Only on Slashdot...
Since you already copied half of the article as your submission, why not post the other 1/2?
This hardly carries as much weight when you consider the article is something like 10 sentences long.
It's not an irrational fear either, since there is really no end in sight to outsourcing. Reminds me of that AP article from a few weeks back.
2) Going through Microsoft's dehumanizing interview process
And they wonder why they don't get as many people as they want. Drop the arrogance and you may stop sending good people away.

The answer is no, unless you don't mind running with crappy graphics and no sound.
I'd find it useful to have something to watch while driving to work each morning. The cars on the road aren't very interesting.
This startup company, named Zazzle allows both shoppers and store owners to fully custmomizer their online experience.
Is it Zazzle or custmomizer? Anyone?

Looks like you're having enough trouble with your current layout
Or RSS 10.
That's because there was already an RSS 2!

Really,...it's worth it!
With a minimum requirement of cable TV and broadband internet, this will hardly help your "limited budget."
"your brain" will no longer be considered a DRM secure device
Additionally, "your brain" will now be referred to as just "brain"
Those responsible for reviewing this review have been sacked.
Agreed. Does there really need to be a chapter-by-chapter analysis? You could publish this review as another book.
So between July 31st and September 9th, there will be no daylight?
Welcome to Slashdot, you must be new here.

An example is http://www.chud.com/
