I think everyone missed my point. Huawei makes some very good phones. Phones that will take away market share from Apple. Apple must be trilled that Huawei can't sell in volume in the USA. Stepping back, if Huawei can't sell here, Apple wins, but Samsung is biggest winner.

Apple's stock goes up on their ability to be complacent. Tim Cook announces another great leap in innovation by Apple since Jobs' passing. The next iPhone is going have more RAM and a slightly different camera!!!!

And Apple's political contributions just went up. Again.

  5. Once something digital is out of your control it is gone. Everything from electronic medical records to the new AC/DC cd. Gone. Trying to regulate it into a box is futile. Collecting, copying, storing, sending costs almost nothing. No barrier. Everything will eventually be leaked or hacked.
The answer is to keep the electronic records/data from being created in the first place (offline storage= very very good). That means someone like me will never use or touch Facebook and will block every IP address connected to Facebook. Even if that means I can't watch a few videos.

Let's say I work for AT&T. Can I use this to publish ads for underage sex on a competitor/enemy's website. Fake ads, but I don't think anyone really cares. (On the darkweb you can buy weapon's grade plutonium. It's true because a reporter saw an ad) Since I control the network, I have godlike powers. I can be very very hard to track down.

Can I use this to cause my competitor/enemy to come under crushing legal scrutiny? Seized servers, fines, etc.

So a study of a bunch of studies (run by industry insiders) that showed antidepressants work showed that after analyzing these studies that antidepressants work.

So studies that individually come to a positive result also collectively come to a positive result? I think this is a phenomenon we need to study!

How about a novel approach. Have people who understand statistics, medicine and psychology (but have no links to drug companies or reason for bias) try to recreate the results of past studies or run large-scale, carefully controlled new studies. And don't use drug company money to fund the study.
