I liked the first 3 (filmed some 20 years ago), i also liked some of the books and computer games based on it.
But the recent Star Wars movies were lame.
Serenity on the other hand is something we didn't have enough (yet).
Though, there is no guarantee a sequel wouldn't suck the same way Star Wars does.
