Will the specs were flawed, that design was amazing. Looking at it today, it still looks good. Those things look colourful, modern, and desirable (well if you ignore the CRT screen). I'd argue it aged even better than the very first Macintosh design, and will certainly look better in a few years time than the current iteration.
A good player can defend against a rush in Starcraft. It's all about micro-managing peons until your first combat unit arrives. Then you go head straight for their economically challenged base.
I just buy the highest capacity card available whenever I purchase a new camera, and I leave the SD card inside the camera. For instance, I recently bought a digital SLR with a 32gb compactflash card.
That way I have enough storage for several thousand pictures, and never need to take the memory card out.
What is the logic behind targetting foreigners first? The obvious answer is that the population is less likely to protest.
I suspect some not-so-thinly veiled xenophobia.
Does anyone else find it less stable than FF?

My experience with Chrome:
1. Wow, this is so much faster and well thought out than FF. I'll use it as my main browser, even if that means ads are back.
2. Crash. Crash. Crash. Open FF in the background to surf sites that crashed the whole browser. Simulteneous browsing on Chrome and FF. More Chrome crashes.

Article on business meetings:
Article 6. -
Any participant in an event, seminar or convention organised in France by natural persons or corporate bodies of French nationality has the right to express himself in French. Documents distributed to participants before and during the meeting for the presentation of the programme must be drafted in French and may include translations in one or more foreign languages.
Where an event, seminar or convention involves the distribution of preparatory documents or work documents to participants, or the publication of proceedings or minutes of work sessions, the texts or papers presented in the foreign language must be accompanied by at least a summary in French.
These provisions apply neither to events, seminars and conventions exclusively organised for foreigners, nor to events designed to promote France's foreign trade.
Provision must be made for translation services when the events herein referred to are organised at the initiative of a public corporate body or private corporate body carrying out a public service assignment.
No obligation to hold meetings in French.
I suggest you lay off wikipedia and try to find the actual law in English (I think translations are posted somewhere). You will see that it does not apply to business meetings.
Sorry, but that is for written safety communications only. Of course that would require doing some actual research. I cheated a bit, I took French law in law school.
French is the official language of the EU (along with 22 other): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Languages_of_the_European_Union#Official_EU_languages .
Also, I suggest you look up "counterfeiting" and "protectionism" in the dictionary. There's a difference.
Business meetings do not have to be held in French in France (in fact most French multinationals use English).
Ignorance and crude prejudices should, however, be irrelevant.
Why do people need every invention to be invented by someone from their country? James Russell???
The CD is possibly the best example of a joint development between a Dutch and a Japanese company.
That an American would try to fit in an American somewhere in here is a bit pathetic. Nothing against Americans, everyone does it. Sad.
People have been helping each other to make the most out of this software for years. To visit the most interesting landmarks and learn how to use Google Earth to its maximum potential, take a look a the official BBS.
Should you consider that the "plus" version is not worth the 30 USD you shelled out for it three days ago, Google offers you a refund. The refund is pro-rated according to the number of months of the year you have been using your subscription.
As as lawyer having to rely on Lexis on Westlaw (expensive internet legal databases), I find their "search" engine a real pain. I can't imagine how it could be worse. If google would start a competitive database, they could win the whole market in a flash.

The average human brain is 1.5 kg. The average Asian elephant brain is 7.5 kg. Are Asian elephants 5 times smarter than men?

You must be new to /. The BSA is one of the many forms of the antechrist, if you are to believe the people round these parts.

Did anyone have the same problem?
A beautiful solution exists in the form of Bluelounge's Sanctuary.
It's a very elegant desk accessory that only needs one power supplies and will charge dozens of gadgets.
I love mine.

Right, well then either you did not read the text or you are not a very bright person. It's sad but I won't waste any more time on you.

I did. Wikipedia is wrong on that point. Can I also point out the string of reply to that post on /. confirming you are wrong?

be surprised that they used the letter W? Isn't that a letter associated with GWB? Could it be possible that this affected the results?
You know gaming is heading downhill when Smash Bros and Pokemon are considered hardcore gaming on slashdot...

The highest-res images were all taken from airplanes, they are not satellite pictures. The "Israeli looby" is therefore entirely irrelevant.
