Actually, Glider was changed awhile back.
It used to require shutting down WoW, and then launching WoW via a Glider executable that loaded WoW into a special section of memory(IIRC).
Now you can fire up Glider at anytime and it attaches to the process automatically. So you can still just launch WoW normally then decide to bot later without restarting WoW.
As student in computer engineering I have never been asked to write a paper. I feel that this is the way it should be because someone can talk about a topic all they want and appear to have knowledge on it. However, if they are required to demonstrate the concept, most people will fail. This is probably why all of my classes are based on exams and programming and/or demonstration assignments. Anyone can fake a paper via plagiarism . It is much harder to fake a programming assignment short of copying someones work and making it blatantly obvious you have done so.
The rise of social networking sites such as facebook and more notably myspace is nodoubt a large factor to this. These sites allow communication between people who would not normally notice each other. I use facebook to interact with people in classes the same as me so that when I miss a class I can find someone who wasn't as hung-over as me and get their notes.
You know its bad when Microsoft starts breaking their own stadards. Im referring to the placement of the menu bars of course. The standard is right below the title bar but Microsoft decided tot put them below the address bar. This would be fine as long as they gave the user an option to move it up to where the standards says it should be. Im all for giving the users options to break standards but dont make it a mandatory thing. Especially when the standard was made by Microsoft themselves.

Least most powerful? so does that make it the valuable thing?
Heres how it works at my university. (I work for the computer deptmartment btw) First, before anyone can connect to the network they must register their MAC with us. This policy goes for both wired and wireless. When a computer starts showing signs of abuse(virus, filesharing, running a switch that is undermining our network, etc...) They are shut off from all off campus network use. They are then rediredted to a page stating that they must call us and we will walk them through the process to get turned back on. We also send a letter stating the same thing. When they call in, we look up their case in our logs and explain the recourse necessary. If it is just a virus problem they must bring their computer to us to have it scanned. We scan it using several different AVs and if they do not have any AV we install Symantec AntiVirus 9(which we provide free to students). If they are turned off for filesharing they are required to attend a bandwidth seminar where we teach about filesharing and why its bad. We also charge for our time in cleaning their machine(usually $26-$52). If its their first offense, they are turned back on 24-48 hours from their computer being cleaned. For the second offense, they are turned off for 4 months rolling over into a fall semester if at the end of spring semester. For the third offense, they are off for life. We do not restrict them from the computer labs however, of which 4 are free to use to students in the residence halls. All in all we have few complaints. People ususally straighten up after the first strike. We are also allowed to refer students to student conduct if they do not comply which is one of the ways we can convince them to stop and be smart.
The issue is that this camera is a "professional" camera. Someone purchasing it probably isnt going to ask their friends/relatives unless their friends/relatives are professional photographers and they are trying to become professional. Most people who ask their geek friends are looking for a good digital camera, but not a pro one.
The problem is that GHz isnt the only parameter that CPUs are measured agaisnt. A 2.0Ghz AMD is faster than a 2.0Ghz Intel. There is also the difference between 32 and 64 bit processors, soon there will be single and dual core processors, cache size, etc... The move towards a standarized benchmark by Intel is a smart move. Now if they would allow AMD to use the same benchmark and allow for a standardized system by both manufacturers, the challenge in determining which processor is superior would be much much easier.
I doubt that you got a signal inside a brick building using xm. satalite radio requires a line of sight view to the southern sky(at least up here in washington, in southern states i imagine it would be the northern sky), this is why when you drive in a forest, you lose signal because of all the tall trees blocking your signal. I imagine that xm had a repeater that your attenae picked up the radio waves. Just a thought. Btw, I have both xm and sirius and xm is my preference. Also, there is already a personal satalite radio reciever. Same concept as the ipod except it only stores 5 hours of programming instead of all the songs you already own. Although im sure someone can make a hack for it.

Im getting tired of companies listing the ROM as if that was the number accessable. Just like your hard drive(only worse) the number indicated is not completley accessable.

Yes it may be an AC, but if you are going to make a claim. Back it up with a link something resembling proof please.

Anybody remember the Honda commercial like this?

Why change when theres nothing wrong. Why change when Verisign hasnt done anything wrong.
On top of that, they are pricing the same level storage for more money. And I still havent found a player with equal or better quality than the iPod.
