I was recently approached and asked by 3 security guards to leave the area because I pointed my dSLR in the direction of a hotel building in downtown Seattle. I was standing on the public sidewalk!
I can also confirm this. If I search for a random domain availability at Network Solutions, then search the same domain again from another registrar, that domain shows up as unavailable within seconds or minutes.
Just like most of Microsoft's plans for future OS's, I doubt this one will actually come to fruition. The typical mom and pop computer user isn't going to run out and replace their good ol' 32bit system anytime soon.
Colonel Sandurz: Prepare ship for light speed.
Dark Helmet: No, no, no. Light speed is too slow.
Colonel Sandurz: Light speed is too slow?
Dark Helmet: Yes. We're gonna have go right to... SUPER speed.
[everybody gasps]
Colonel Sandurz: SUPER speed? Sir, we've never gone that fast before. I do'nt know if this ship can take it.
Dark Helmet: What's the matter Colonel Sandurz? Chicken?
Colonel Sandurz: [Wimpering] Prepair ship!
[Calms down]
Colonel Sandurz: Prepare ship, for Ludicrous speed. Fasten all seat belts.
[everybody fastens in their seat belts and locks all of the doors]
Colonel Sandurz: Seal all entrances and exits. Lock all stores in the mall. Cancel the 3-ring circus. Secure all animals in the zoo...
Dark Helmet: [Takes the intercom from Sandurz] Gimme that, you petty excuse for an officer!
[speaks into the intercom as Sandurz puts on his seat belt]
Dark Helmet: Now hear this, Ludicrous speed...
Colonel Sandurz: [Interrupts] Sir, you better buckle up.
Dark Helmet: [to Sandurz] Ah, buckle this.
[Into the intercom]
Dark Helmet: SUPER speed, go!

"PSB is a strategic communications firm that specializes in research-based recommendations for its clients. PSB has conducted research studies for Microsoft over the past 8 years."
Wow, a POSITIVE survey that was commissioned by Microsoft, to the customers of Microsoft, by a company who regularly does commissioned reports for Microsoft. Who woulda thought?
The Tor concept is a great idea, and seems to work okay, but the last time I tried it, it was so slow that it was mostly unusable. Has much changed in the past 6 months or so?
Either Nintendo's site got slashdotted, or the whole "Wii" thing was a hack/defacing in the first place, and Nintendo has brought it down for repairs. The whole name-change sounds pretty fishy to me.
Follow the money. Who stands to gain from creating fear, uncertainty, and doubt surrounding Linux and it's related organizations?
The US Border Patrol advertises it's job openings on a local Metal radio station (Washington State). These are the people that are seizing your data.

I see that nothing has changed.
And when you spend that much time caring, you're just a loser.

And how exactly does quoting a movie qualify as 'stealing a joke'?
So, wait..
"When I talk to open source developers, at least half are talking about Windows, from SugarCRM, MySQL, PHP. Every single one"
So which is it Bill? Half? Or Every single one?
"Japan does not exist in 2007."
This article does not exist in 2007.
Move right along.

Due to high customer demand, Dell has announced plans to start introducing OS/2 and DR-DOS 6 as options on Dimension desktops.
I blogged about this very thing way back in July 2005..
You're right. So what're we gonna do about it?
Screw it, lets kill those war-mongering bastards!!

That's easy, they're employed by Sony.
The Gentoo documentation is extensive and very useful.. RTFM. I can do a Gentoo install in about 2-3 hours, minus Xorg.
