    I'm not a big Linux user, actauly, I barely know how to do anything... and thats why I know it isn't ready for the big time(Linux), however, I think most stuff works, just not all for Nvidia, or its not optimized or something. Also, if the drivers are opened up, then any distro will be able to use them no matter what(If they edit them), and if they are opened up, then it means that they can make drivers for other things(Like a new OS thats not linux derived or something)

    It really is good to see that Microsoft is trying to do some good things. I mean they ARE the huge company that they are, so it really is good to see that they are trying to do things better. However, a rootkit to change a rootkit does not sound like a good idea... But a firewall like they are talking about does seem pretty interesting. I hope to see good stuff come out. As a Windows user, this is good news for me.

    Then you aren't a PC gamer. Simple as that. Although I do do have to wonder, who gets more games MADE for their system. Linux or Mac? I did buy a Linux version of Quake 3. Its was 20 dollars less than the Windows counterpart. :-) All I have to do is download the updates for Quake 3 and then copy the big file from the CD.

    Because we like to play games and be able to do stuff simply without having to learn a whole new way of doing stuff. Thats why Linux sucks for me. :-(
