I think its a combo of the crappy economy, but then again maybe the need for wide adaptation just wasn't there. I would think it is like any other thing, if the demand was there the supply would have ramped up and the costs would have gone down.
Many diffrent kinds. New Belgium Fat Tire, Sierra Nevada Torpedo, Abita Amber or Purple Haze, Long Trail Ale, Harpoon IPA, Paulaner Hefeweizen...
and that i just to name a few.
No big publisher wants more to bring anything like a library back to life. Publishers had to have hated the fact that something like a library existed in the first place, and if digital publishing can wipe away libraries, you know they will be happy. A digital library is something that the publishers have to hate.
Games are more akin to food or drinks? Man, you obviously don't see the real world much. I'm in college and I know LOTS of folks who havn't bought games in a while so that they could, you know, buy food or drinks. Games may be a tad addictive but they aren't like drugs THAT much.
What if he felt he didn't need to check it. The company decided to do something, the public didn't like it, so they changed it. For a free game.
I repeat that.
For a free game.
Anyway, I'm glad they apologized, but you can't always think someone who doesn't go along with group think is a troll.
OR maybe they just think that this will be the best thing for the framework. Maybe they feel that if they get more people using it, it will only strengthen their hold on the market, while making the open source crowd happy.
The game is a whole lot of fun. I really hope this serves as an example for future online games. Micro Transactions really aren't all bad, especially the way that Turbine is doing them.
I never bought it. Played it for 10 minutes on a pirated copy once... but I lost interest. I figure this is the way I can play a lot of the mods and stuff. yay.
See, this is where people are wrong. No one will ever get tired of sports games any faster than people get tired of watching sporting events. Its really that simple. People have been saying that they would get tired of the sport games for the past 5 years or so, but it hasn't happened yet.
Actually, yeah, it is a problem with Apple virtually integrating it into the OS. It will continue to be a problem, just like IE integrated into the OS for Windows is a problem.
Technically, hes right. If you like anyone of the same gender you are a homosexual. The only thing that should have made someone say "What the fuck" is that he used the word "fag".
I'm just sayin'.
So a non-profit that is based in the US so they are protected and use US laws?

Most set top boxes have that somewhere in the settings.

You are much to paranoid. Carriers can, and do block stolen phoens based on their IMEI numbers in the USA.

Actually, the dead voting happens mostly in Chicago. Ask JFK!
You can have that much by either being very very good, or very very bad at it.
Those guys in Europe really DO have better ideas than America! They are so open and free... oh... wait.
I completly agree, it really does seem that way. Also, this post was NOT a troll, it just won't be liked here on /. Hell, I just kissed away some karam
Not at all. Its a good thing to want to see how a group(The RIAA) does its dirty laundry.

Although it is a Democrat congress now, so rethink your statement.
