  3. It all goes back to education, when a person with a well rounded education (including liberal arts/history...) sees bad information it is like seeing red blinking text in a WEB Page.

Since education quality and funding has been reduced to bare bones in the US and with some countries worse off, you get many people believing every sensational/outrageous thing on the net. How about giving people a good education now. Eventually even the teachers will be no-educated at the rate we are going.

  5. Many comments here only prove one thing, people have double standards, and when someone of a group people here believe they belong to get accused they call the accuser SWJ and lair. Then state the person being accused should continue in his position of power.

But when a Priest is accused of the same thing, the very same people who are defending these other abusers are out there with pitch forks and torches looking for him.

It is time we start taking the accuser seriously instead of defending the accused, maybe it is time to take a lesson from Europe and try to keep names and details out of the press. And if the abuser has a position of power, put them on unpaid leave until proof can be determined one way or the other. If proof is found, the abuser should be fired and loose any existing options owed to him.

I have not used windows in a very long time, but from what I remember and from what I have seen helping people at work to fix their windows machines Microsoft does not make backups easy.

In UN*X (BSD/Linux/...) all user files and configs are under one directory, where under Windows the files are spread all over creation. So backups and restores of user data is trivial on UN*X but under windows you probably need to purchase 1 or more proprietary backup application and that more than likley will not work 10 or 20 years hence
