That's absolutely ridiculous. ~90% of aircraft costs are tied up in engine repair. AF fighters are cheaper to maintain by an order of magnitude thanks to only having one engine.
Also your list is wrong-headed and silly.
Agreed. I've had my MX Laser for 4 years now, and besides changing the feet out ($2) a few months ago it's been solid as a rock. Accurate, holds a charge for days, and had a good dozen buttons. It's a hundred bucks well spent.
"...it would seem the end is nigh. Sega's Game Gear offers Genisis level power and a beautiful screen next to Gameboy's humble, NES-quality experience. Rumors of a next-generation Game Boy system were crushed with the unveiling of Game Boy Pocket, a revised Gameboy selling on its stylish, compact design and beautiful (but minuscule) screen."
Am I the only guy here who remembers C&C: Sole Survivor? T'was a fun game, if you could get a lan of 15+ people playing. Nowadays all those retards play is CS: Source.
Ah, but there is a small flaw in your argument. You assume that there will be fun PSP games. Personally, I find sports games (racing included) to be incredibly boring, so what am I left with?
The only game for PSP that grabbed my attention was the new Armored Core, and once I learned you can't pilot ACs, the only reason I'm still intersted is because I'm a mecha whore.
You want to know why there are so many violent games in stores nowadays? Because they sell!
You don't like it, fine. But if the majority of america does like it, you have to live with it. Thus is the nature of democracy.
And don't even get me started on children buying video games. It is the parent's responsibilty (and ONLY the parent's responsibility) to control what their son/daughter plays. Don't like what the next door neighbor has? Well, your son can't go over there. Don't know how bad a video game is? Play it for half an hour. Try making an informed descision by yourself, not parroting whatever some action group says.
Not to mention create more than the small percentage of "new" games instead of repackaging old ones that were you paid for once already
The only game like this on DS was Marri 64, and I do believe it has quite a large number of extra features. I hadn't beaten the game when it first came out, however, so it's all new to me. As for old games on the Advance system, I sure there are a few, but none come to mind, the system was so full of new ones.
I'd also like to see you twist your DS and see what happens. More than likely it'll break in two instead of just pop the disk out
Tried it. Nothing happened.
I am yet to get my hands on a live PSP so I can't really comment on the button issue (and I'm sure most of you are in the same boat.)
I do not own one, no. However, a good friend of mine (despite my warnings to the contrary) was one of the people who bought one off Ebay for 500+ dollars. It's got 17 dead pixels and the disc shoots out with a slight twist, although he dosen't like me to do it. The square button, while not a problem yet, is a design error they should have caught early and fixed early. There is NO excuse for putting somthing that blatantly wrong into the system.
Down here in Louisiana, we've got a prison called Angola. It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere, and covers a very large area. Inmates there grow their own food (both plant and animal), are currently bulding additions to the prison (an Olympic pool and 9-hole golf course, both for wardens), and have the opportunity to get an education. (GED or degree in General Studies or Philosophy) For all this hard work they are paid 4 cents an hour, two of which are taken for savings.
The wardens and their families live on the grounds in what is essentilly a zero-crime neighborhood.
Cost of keeping inmates for one year: $2300
Oh, and while there are T.V's, there are no ideo games. And the cooking (also done by inmates) is excellent.
Here you go, a simple and easy fix for the whole system. Every tax paying citizen gets the chance to buy in or out of Social Security. If you buy in, your money goes to the big cash pile in the sky and distributed to poor starving granies everywhere. If you choose to opt out, no Social Security payments for you. However, you are also not eligible for SS when you gey creaky in the bones. You may "buy into" SS at anytime buy paying back whatever ammount you've missed over the years of laxity, not nessisarily in one lump sum.
This, I believe, would be the most democratic solution. If you trust the next few generations or simply want to help out the elderly, pay Social Securiy. If you think you can handle monet better than Uncle Sam, go ahead. The current SS Surplus could be used to pay the current and near-future seniors who never had this option.
Makes sense, no?
Now, although I disagree with banning the swastika, I can see the reasoning behind it. However, some Europeans refuse to stop there.

Not trying to say americans aren't stupid about some things, just trying to say our neighbors across the ocean can be just as stupid.
Posting from a laptop via (non-hacked, cracked, or broken) tethered American iPhone. You just need the right carrier files.

If this turns out to be true...I guess that is pretty revolutionary. Cool, too.
Sounds about right. If I was a retard then I wouldn't be able to use fancy words like that. That should be pretty obvious, quineg?

The LAST thing we need is government regulation.

Quote from the article:
"There was a clear purpose to it, and it wasn't a mistake."
That's not how most people admit to a mistake, at least not where I live. Sounds more like he's being a pompus ass.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo has never region-coded a game/system. The Gamecube suports it, but they don't use it.
Sony, on the other hand...
Not Two weeks ago I bought a Lexmark Z515 for somthing like $35.
For that price, I don't even have to buy ink cartridges, I just buy a new printer when they wear out.
