Half Life 2: Episode 2 looks like it's going to be well worth the $20. Another 6-8 hours of Half Life 2 (the the new teaser looks amazing), Team Fortress 2, and Portal (which looks very original and unique).
No. The original Prey title shares very little with the one that got released. The major thing it shared was the portal technology which in the Quake 1 timeframe was really impressive.
The original game was supposed to put you in levels that contained just a couple of very intelligent and difficult AI characters. You were their prey if I recall correctly.

There is one or two Doom 3 jokes in the game. You enter a dark hallway and your character says "It's so dark in here... I'm doomed!"
One of my favorite parts of this game is towards the end when your character actually gets pissed off and he starts yelling "Die you mother f@cker!" and other expletives as you're killing aliens.
It was bad engineering (frontline guns couldn't rotate enough) that allowed the Nazis to get into France,
Two responses. First: I blame the software guys who wrote the frontlineGuns() routine. Second: "The Germans wouldn't dare go through those woods to the north, would they?"
Well, actually, yes, the moon was formed when a large Mars sized object struck the Earth early in its history. Much of the ejected material became the moon. The rocks on the moon are made up of very similar material due to this. There is also very little heavy metals like iron on the moon because most of the ejected material was from the surface of the then forming Earth and not its core.
The rocks from the moon were not oxidized like those found on earth (due to a lack of oxygen).
I was hoping we'd see some vast ripping of the American populace sometime soon! It makes me feel so much better to read it or post it! I'm SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE! And I'm so unique!
The problem with that is that it goes to the first one in alphabetical order. So if you had c:\program files\Microsaucer and c:\program files\Microsoft it will go to microsaucer.
Although it was cast as a negative, I always enjoyed being able to use the ~1 (and ~2, ~3, etc) for long names in MSDOS. In my mind Program Files is progra~1 and Microsoft is micros~1.
Ahh... yes. You sound like one of those people claiming that Bushie would "capture" Osama before the 2004 elections. Either that or sneak chemical or nuclear weapons into Iraq and "find" them sometime in Sept or Oct.

Windows 2000 was good because it was built on "NT Technology". Or, in other words, it was built on "New Technology Technology" (since NT originally meant "New Technology").

No, I will laugh. That's the stupidest thing I've ever read.
And how does a contracter working for a private company have the right to post on the CIA intranet anything that doesn't relate to their job?

Ughh... I hate that song.

Actually, as I posted above, there is a new system in the US. It's currently the #3 system.

And it's inaccurate:

What are you, an idiot? Clearly you are.
3.25" floppies? Crazy. Where'd you get those from?
ah...
Hmm... maybe if in the game you were swinging a flaming sword?
The WiiMac?

There is a sane argument that a country is not its government, but its people. Somewhat quaint these days, I know.
After this, how could one have faith enough to serve an inept institution?
Why do we need all the editorializing in the blurb? And the troops don't serve an institution.
How did this get a +5 moderation? He's saying that write only memory would be a good thing!
Local memory is memory on the processor. It's _supposed_ to be very very fast to read and write from.

Three reasons:
1. You can save your game in solitaire
2. You can save your game in freecell
3. It includes a super pretty chess game!
