It would be one thing if the US had accumulated its wealth in fair and equal competition with the rest of the world. But I doubt anyone would claim that to be true...
I think we've been playing the same game as everyone else has been for the last 100-150 years. We've just been better at it. We've bent the rules at times, but so has every other country. Where, exactly, do you propose that the US has been getting this unfair advantage from?
When the global warming would have caused the sea level to rise a few meters, the rust belt will be far more attractive than Florida or Mississipi.
You'll be waiting awhile for that. Oceans rose at a constant 0.3mm per year from 1901 - 2000. So, 3 cm over 100 years. I think you should be able to figure out the rest.
And with it's roughly 25% usage of the world's energy supplies (including oil) what does the US do with it? Create an even greater percentage of the world's goods. So my question is: why is the rest of the world less efficient than the US?
Wow, what a ridiculous little loophole you're trying to squirm yourself through. As if anyone would ever read your statement and think that you weren't implying they were an American. Whatever makes you feel better. Wear that asshat proudly.
Interesting recollection of the Florida ballot controversy. The sad fact (for you at least) is that both PARTIES approved the ballot, not some lone republican super spy who was pretending to be a dem.
Basic TTS software was available on the C64 in the early-mid 80's. It didn't require a high end PC, nor was it expensive. Other options were also available:
Software Automatic Mouth, or SAM, was a speech synthesis program for the early personal computers, developed and sold by Don't Ask Software (now SoftVoice), and a distant ancestor of PlainTalk, found in today's Mac OS. The program was available for Apple computers (including the Apple II, and the Lisa), various Atari models and the Commodore 64. Prices ranged from about USD$50 to $200.
SAM is claimed[citation needed] to have been the first commercial software voice synthesis program; however, it was not. In March 1983, Classical Computing, Inc. had released David Dubowski's Speak Up! for the TRS-80 Color Computer, and it had reached the Apple II+ and IIe in 1984. Unlike SAM, Speak Up! cost only USD$29.95, took up 7kB of RAM and allowed BASIC programs to produce speech. SAM's greatest competition, however, was Voice Box by Alien Software.
Actually, that's the lowest estimate I've seen. And youtube itself has acknowledged that it is somewhat struggling to find a good way to bring in more revenue. Their main source of money has been repeated rounds of funding.
99% of the time items that produce video signals come with the cables, items that receive said signals do not. This is just the way the market seems to have worked things out.
My $400 Xbox 360 came with a nice set of component cables. Have fun with your $15 cable. I'm sure the quality is just stellar.
And why would you be proud of the fact that customers of a competing company is buying expensive HP hardware and then downloading your OS for free? They're basically saying "Ha! Look how foolish we are! Even HP can make money off of Solaris!"
Nice troll attempt. What's more sad, my attempt at humor, or you taking all that time in your life to try and write such a lame attempt at trying to be a jackass?
I'd go with the later.
Anyways, his grammar is improper, but it was fairly clear what he was implying. The correct way would have been something along the lines of "If back then you were the age that you are now" or even "If you were then the age that you are now".
You're right, sort of. Hizbollah and Hamas just launch 20 or 30 rockets into Israel on any given day from Lebanon and "Palestine". Funded and supplied by Syria and Iran. Usually fired while surrounded by children in the middle of villages and civilian populations.
The amount these terrorists surround themselves with children is amazing. The pictures are hard to find, since they're mostly taken by terrorist friendly AP stringers, but they're out there.

If the ballot was so f'en horrible why didn't the Dems simply say "no" to it?
Talk about not letting facts get in the way.

then attacking me based on assumption alone is typical of Americans
Where did he/she even say they were an American?
Hypocrisy thy name is Sj0

Which of these top 10 sites focus on non-copyrighted material? You know, the stuff that the torrent fans bring up as the reason they use bittorrent?
Actually, that's the lowest estimate I've seen. And youtube itself has acknowledged that it is somewhat struggling to find a good way to bring in more revenue. Their main source of money has been repeated rounds of funding.
Your argument is lame.

Yeah, I mentioned that I f'ed that up fucktard. About 4 hours ago. So congrats.
Ughh... my grammar sucks.
Anyways, about 4 or 5 of these "new" categories fall under the "casual" banner.
WTF difference is their between a "Casual Gamer" and a "Leisure Gamer"?

Wow... what an amazingly convuluted recollection of events.
Wrong. 4.1.4

Where time becomes a loop
"If you were your age now"
He is his age now.

Here are a couple examples.
Good work bringing up Entourage. Great show.
Take Sex in the City, change the sex of the main characters, add lots of hot chicks, some nudity, and real humor and you get Entourage.
Oh, and almost everything always turns out good.
And if you're nice we'll teach you how to spell "grammar".
And there are, what, 500-600 million Europeans? So the win rate from Europe:America should be around 2:1.
And what's with all the naked guys along the course? WTF... I don't want to see that.
