I am in now way denying that Microsoft is restrictive I just dislike Apples way of doing it more, its a question of preference.

I have used both and yes Microsoft products does this aswell, never denied that, I just think Apple products are worse especially if you bring hardware into it (I realize that Microsoft dosnt make computers but Apple do), Apple hardware is very restricted and you have to use Apple hardware to use OSX (legally) so I think its fair to bring into it.

I guess its a matter of preference, I personally want to be able to control everything myself both OS and hardware.

It's a matter of what you want, for me the restrictive nature of Apple products is exactly what makes them suck more then Microsoft products (though only by a tiny amount) both are very restrictive but Apples moreso. I hate being told by my computer what I need to do, especially when I know its advice is wrong so I prefer not to use a system that does that.

The "Zomg nakid peeple r scary" way of thought is pretty much american, here in Denmark we can see naked people in movies and series on public tv in the primetime quite often and no one complains, we save the hardcore stuff for after midnight but the rest is shown at all times of day. I think you can thank the religious crowd for removing all things involving naked people from your tv. Again here in denmark religion is not widely practiced, it is mostly older people (as in around 70 years old or more) and Muslims that actually care about religion the rest are Atheist or have some sort of personal belief that dosnt follow christianity.

Perhaps but no matter how the criminals feel about jail, the meaning of putting people there does not change. I was merely informing the GP about the fact that he had clearly missunderstood the purpose of a jail sentence, I put in the part about "I don't know about your country" as I in fact do not know which country he comes from.

I don't know how it works in your country, but here in Denmark we DO NOT put people in prison to punish them, we put them in prison to rehabilitate them and to keep them away from society while they are being rehabilitated. Our sentences are very low aswell and when people get out depend on whether the prisons feel they have been rehabilitated (up to the max of what the judge sentenced).
