"The broader problem is that California's micromanagement poses a risk to the rest of the country. After all, broadband is an interstate service; Internet traffic doesn't recognize state lines. It follows that only the federal government can set regulatory policy in this area."
The broader problem is Ajit Pai. Internet traffic doesn't recognise Country boundaries either. It follows that only a World Government can set regulatory policy in this area.
Replying on an Acer Chromebook 14 Work here. 85% battery, 17hrs left. The sound sometimes mutes and requires a restart, but other than that, as I'm not doing as much photo/video editing these days, my Mac Book Air has been put up for sale. This thing was cheap as well.
If you RTFA, you'll learn that he was found face down. Presumably, he drowned, but we don't know why he rolled over. Unless something interesting shows up in the autopsy, we may never know for sure.
If you RTFA and then click a link to the original story, THEN you find out he was found face down.
I first got a Zenwatch and it was brilliant. Did everything I needed. Notifications, appointments, looked good. Then a Zenwatch 2 added a speaker and Wear 2. Some things got better, some got worse. Unfortunately notifications got worse. Fit 2 time. Notifications work well, calander works, battery life is good, no speaker or mic, so no hands free phone or "ok Google" searches. Tizen is nice and smooth, as is Wear. Both will connect to WiFi if Bluetooth is unavailable. The Fit 2 has a GPS. The stopwatch only goes to 60 mins. WTF! I use the stopwatch as a time tracker when I'm working to figure out billing. The fitness side? Recording your heart rate every minute? Just say no.
Both do the job, both have different features I don't use. If I ran one over with the car I'd happily use the other.
From TFA. "More modern hardware can be found in space; there are laptops on the ISS, 2007-vintage ThinkPad T61p running Debian, Scientific Linux, and Windows 7. They are being replaced by HP ZBook 15s which will run the same mix of Linux distributions and Windows 10. The Linux systems act as remote terminals to C&C MDM, while the Windows systems are used for e-mail, the web, and recreation.
But those laptops are not high-availability, high-performance computers. They're ordinary laptops which are expected to fail. Indeed, there are over a hundred laptops on the ISS and most are defunct."
20D and 40D with a small collection of f2.8 lenses and the best photo so far was with a Mavica FD95 at 1024x768. In no way was it the clearest, or the sharpest, but the subject and composition were nailed. It got me hooked on digital photography.
If I'm going somewhere specifically to take photos, I'll take a dSLR with some good glass. If I'm going somewhere I might take some photos, I'll take my old Canon Powershot D10. If I'm going somewhere and need to take a photo, my S5 Mini does a damn good job.

How much scooter experience do these people have?
But he IS a member of a foreign government?

A really s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-slow n-n-n-n-n-n-ews day...
Works nicely on very low power devices.
5 times as fast as today's commercial aircraft.
2 times as fast as yesterday's commercial aircraft.

It would be news if they were imposing the caps while saying they were uncapped.
Only some ISP's here even have an uncapped plan on their books.

I used this on myself and am happy to report that it worked.
That's the closest to death I've been...
My first programming book. Still have it.

Yep, that's us.
I'm also a budding grammar Nazi.
Hand your nerd card in at the door.
It's called "Doing a PayPal".
No, we're not a bank at all, look! Puppies!
Spent several months on an iceberg with only a tent and the occasional polar bear.

Or even like legal online gaming sites as they are known elsewhere in the non-US world.

How about 0-100kph in 0.4s and on to 640kph.
All with only 4s of thrust.
Well written, well presented, a joy to read on a tablet.
