Same. I didn't even know what it was then really. I just remember the code for the games in the back of the manual. I didn't know that you needed a tape to save everything. I would type all of that in, play for a couple hours, then turn off the VIC 20. Couldn't figure out for the longest time why I couldn't run my games when I turned the thing back on.
I found that no matter how poor people are, there's always funds for TV. I was in a pretty poor rural area for two years and found almost the opposite. The poorer they were, the bigger the TV they had. Just like beer and cigarettes; people seem to find a way to have money for these things.
A few thoughts on this from s customer service supervisor for nearly 5 years.
1. When we monitored calls, there were three ways to do it. Listen side-by-side, listen live remotely, or listen to a previously recorded random call. None of these ways could you listen to the customer if they were put on "hold." The only way you could hear them is if the customer rep said "hold", but really just pushed the mute button. (There are some great things said when that happens). If there's no music while you're on "hold", it's probably on mute.
2. We had a dial-in number that we could listen to random calls from people not on our team. There was no way to track this. If you give out your SSN, credit card number, etc., I could have used it and no one would have known how I got it. It probably would have been blamed on the rep who took the ccard number. Thank goodness I'm not that kind of person. But it could happen.
3. Always get names and confirmation numbers of payemnts, etc.
Excellent transaction, will do business again, Highly recommended ++++++++++++ A++++!!!!!!!!

I know how it feels. I just got a notice from my library that they were fining me $.05 a day for a late book.
Anyone else have mod points but no option to use them?
An optional flux capacitor is available for the swap drive.

Start Control Panel Add/Remove programs SMARTGUARD software - Remove. Are there any parents smarter than the teens when it comes to these things?
