Would anyone care to see this on OS X or other OSes? At least for me, I already get the same fuctionality on my Mac that this offers (through Quicksilver/Spotlight, Gcount/GmailStatus, etc.).
According to a citation on "Platt's home page, he and other colleagues at Microsoft developed a paper in the 2001-2002 timeframe discussing AutoDJ, "a system for automatically generating music playlists based on one or more seed songs selected by a user."
But can you imagine how many people would take away your code and claim as their own, sell it and not give back to the commnuity had it not been for the copyleft "GPL"?
Can anyone else get the article to load? I get this error message...
Error establishing a database connection! This probably means that the connection information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect. Double check it and try again.
Are you sure you have the correct user/password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
I guess they have priced themselves out of any profits. I bought my XBOX for $300 back in November '01 when it was first launched. At that time, those $300 got you the console and one controller. These days (last time I checked), for $150, you can get an XBOX, two controllers, and one or two games.
The console wars have driven down the price from what used to be an arm and a leg to something much more affordable in an attempt to sell more and more units.
Last time I checked, OS X was not supported for XFire. If there is one thing I would love to see, it would be for this great app to support more OSes.
At least Mario hasn't resorted to selling Peach for a couple hundred an hour, that just wouldn't be classy.
Imagine if the editors started using this, what would everyone have to bitch about on Slashdot?

Yeah, but does it run Linux?
This is probably the easiest way to explain it.
I recommend using Azureus to download the torrent.

Yet another reason to use Ad-Aware.

Sony isn't an angel either.
I can finally sleep at night!
CherryOS?
So where is the .torrent? ;-)

What can Brown do you for?
;-)
Do they include sounds effects of all the information in the show going right over my head?
This seems to be their one and only service that isn't beta. But I don't mind their screwy usage of that term, it all is polished enough for me.
Physical interaction with humans over the internet? This sounds like many a Slashdot reader's idea of a wet dream.
"Open the pod bay door, HAL."
How do you get a baby out of a blender?
With tortilla chips.
How do you get a baby out of a blender With- *is overrun by thousands of stem-cell protestors*
All that trouble and you can't get a nice boot screen of Tux? What's the point? :P

All the news leading up to the release predicted a PS2-like availability after the first few days (read: sold-out), guess Sony fooled everyone.
Can anyone say Ebay?
